Deep Glen is a beautiful, quiet 5 acre property at Eaglehawk Neck, gateway to the stunning Tasman Peninsula. Hiking, surfing, fishing, swimming, diving are all at your doorstep, not to mention the famous Three Capes Track and the Port Arthur Historic site just a short drive away. If you want to see the coast shown in these photos, both the Tasman Island Cruise and Wild Ocean Tasmania offer excellent trips Bookings are for two adults; children under 16 are free. It may be possible for larger groups to occupy one site - please enquire before booking. As the site is teeming with wildlife including the barred bandicoot, we don't allow dogs. There are no facilities on the block apart from a long drop dunny (byo paper) and a small supply of non-potable water so you will need to be self-sufficient though there are good meals at the nearby Lufra Hotel and excellent coffee just up the road at the legendary Cubed Coffee van. We only make provision for two campsites so you'll never be crowded. Other info: - Hobart 1 hour - Airport 45 mins - nearest shop Murdunna 10 mins Check-in: after 2pm Check-out: by 10am

secluded and peaceful spot. Great location also. We could hear the waves as we fell asleep which was lovely. Thank you

Not quite it...
Location on Eaglehawk Neck great to visit Port Arthur etc. Fresh air and wonderful night sky. Visits from wallabies and friends after dark. Road noise in the day time and the sites is bumpy and on a downhill slope. Limited options for a caravan. . The advertised view was hard to find and as the owner was absent for the next 3 nights when a new gro u p arrived perhaps signage to identify sites is a good idea. We met the owner and were on correct site but words from the new arrival th next afternoon to say we on their site was upsetting. I suggest renaming sites to 1 and 2 and signage onsite. Looked forward to this stay but generally disappointed. Also we paid for the firewood bundle but other campers just used the on-site timber with no payment.

We loved our stay here! The host Steve was very welcoming and helpful with tips for walks and things to do in the area. We also saw many wallabies/pademelons at dusk and one seemed to come past both nights at the same time to join us briefly by the fire which was cute. There are fire pits provided and a drop toilet as well. This was a good base to go exploring all day from. Would recommend!
