Welcome to the picturesque countryside of rural Northern Michigan and the Blissfest Festival Farm. Campers have access to 200+ acres including an 18-hole disc golf course and many trails, including North Country National Scenic Trail which passes through the property. Active agricultural projects include an orchard, vineyard and shitake garden. Immerse yourself in the beauty of our hardwood forests, witness stunning fall colors and marvel at the abundant wildlife that calls this area home. Choose from 25 drive-in or 10 walk-in sites with access to potable water, regularly serviced portajons and solar showers. Within five miles, you'll find great restaurants and craft brews, sandy Lake Michigan beaches and the famous Tunnel of Trees. Sunsets paint the western horizon in beautiful displays of magenta and gold; our dark and starry skies are a sight to behold.

Drive Up Site #22
This place was very beautiful, but I recommend going not in the middle of October. There was not any workers around, no other campers, and honestly barely any people in a 10 mile radius. We wanted to go somewhere for alone time, but not to be in solitude and separated from society completely😂 Not the places fault at all though! Just two Ohioans trying to get away from Ohio and probably didn’t make the best choice of camping 300 miles up north during our Fall break from college lol. Beautiful place though, would love to visit in the summer with a group of friends!

Cabin 1
We had such a beautiful fall camp out at Bliss! The cabin had heat which once it got going was so toasty and warm! The bed was comfortable too! Walking the trails was so nice and the fall colors were on full display! Would definitely recommend!

Our Favorite Campground
This was our third time camping at the Blissfest Campground and we extended our stay by another 5 days. We keep coming back because we love the pure beauty of this pristine location, the generous campsites, the thoughtful and kindly management of the staff, and the superb facilities. The sky here is as dark as it gets in the lower peninsula of Michigan. We always bring our telescope as when the seeing is good the stars glitter in a field of black velvet and the milky way stretches from horizon to horizon. The campground management is mindful of this and is careful to keep the surrounding fields free from artificial lighting, resulting in vast dark areas with distant tree-lines fit for telescope setup. I am an amateur radio operator (W8REA) and participate in the Parks On The Air (POTA) radio program, where radio amateurs operate from designated park areas and using portable equipment, make radio contacts on the air. The North Country Trail is such an area and runs through the campground. We were able to snag a campsite within the requisite 100' distance from the NCT and I comfortably made numerous contacts across the USA and as distant as Sweden. Three days each year Blissfest hosts a music festival that attracts an eclectic, peaceful group of music lovers who camp in the fields and woods surrounding the Blissfest Campground. There are beautiful artistic traces of this energy all over the surrounding acres and these evoke the spirit of the Blissfest experience.
