There’s no where you can stay in the 8 acres of property without a beautiful view! You can park a camper, motor home, in the yard or tent camp out with the geese, ducks, ibis, cranes, horses, cattle, and other visiting wildlife!

Very quiet, private field with a small deck area. Great location after passing Witichia Falls.

best hipcamp-horse riding school!!

all was good in the horseland of shamrock. sheila was wonderful, and her dogs (and puppy) were great. probably a better setup for an rv or camper than a tent, but it all works.

Wonderful Experience

We enjoyed the property. Host was helpful and easy to communicate with. Close to town and the highway. We will book again next time we are in Grand Junction.

I loved camping here! Simple and no frills, SAFE for solo female travelers b/c it is gated and private. Sheila was awesome and easy to get in touch with. Happy camping!

Shamrock Acres

Sheila's place suited my needs for this particular stay (one quick night on a road trip stop over, sleeping in my van). Sheila was very welcoming and accommodating, and I enjoyed getting to meet her horses. In general, her place works if you're in a self-contained RV - if I'd been in my tent, it would have been a bit too close to the house, a streetlight and a busy-ish road, without a good place to cook, sit and eat, etc. Not ideal if you're looking for a "camping" experience.
