Awesome service
I can't get imagine better service. Mick had the campfire ready to go, and offered us everything from bug spray to s'mores ingredients. I much appreciated that they invited us to let our dog off the leash. Our boys enjoyed the chance to feed their horses. I have never felt so welcomed! The entrance is tricky, and backing up requires skill as it's maybe 90 degrees more than an S curve. Mick offered to do it for me. If you aren't skilled backing up and wouldn't feel comfortable with Mick in the driver's seat, look elsewhere. He did mention years of experience in trucking. He offered 30 amp service and water. No dump station on site but there is a free one right next to the freeway entrance. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Everything was as expected! Nice site and fun animals. My kids loved the very friendly cats and seeing the horses and goats. Beautiful views. Easy access to water and electric hookups too.

Camping with the peacocks!
I loved camping at Mick's! He greeted me upon arrival and backed my travel trailer into its space as backing up a trailer is not my strong point. He provided a 20 amp electrical cord and prepared a wonderful outdoor fire for my use. Loved the chickens, the cats and watching the peacocks. My only regret was that I only had one night there. I will definitely return when I return to Fruita.

Awesome End to Spring Break
Mick and Dierde were great hosts! What an awesome little alcove. Great, RV spot with water and power, awesome shade, relaxed feel surrounded by farmland. Lots of things for the kids to do; farm animals, slackline, a fire pit for s’mores. We’ll be back!

What kind and hospitable people! This place was a haven all on its own and I wish we had more time here! Our family of three enjoyed the thoughtful setup with a campfire, hammock, plenty of seating along with the sights and sounds of all the animals on the property. The backdrop of mountains in the distance completed the already perfect setting. Plenty of room to explore and play. Felt like home! Easy in, easy out. Mick was the most amazing host. Highly recommend and hope to return some day.
