Friendly hosts! Plenty of space to set up our tent and great hiking trails within walking distance. If you’re visiting the Durango area and looking for a space to camp the night, this is perfect!

My friends & I had a wonderful stay. It's a beautiful property, secluded but not far from Durango, with plenty of sites to camp. Shanna & her husband were exceptionally welcoming & generous -- encouraging us to make ourselves at home, hang out with their two lovable dogs, & play around on their disc golf course. Recommended!

Shanna was a great host and very accommodating. She offered us an extra tarp and indoor space when we arrived late in the rain. Beautiful spot to camp!

Shanna's property is beautiful. My friend's were being turds and Shanna and her husband were beyond accommodating. They were super nice people! The two border collies were such awesome dogs. I wish I could have spent more time around their house!

Peace and Quiet with Amazing Hosts
What a wonderful stay! Shanna and her husband were the most gracious hosts I have had to date. The property was gorgeous, the hikes beautiful, and the hospitality was top-notch. I would have extended my stay had I not had other commitments. The road is a bit bumpy on the way up to the property, but the view and location are well worth it. The place is a very very short hike from the national forest, so there is no need to travel far to enjoy nature.

Lovely drive up and up
The area was very nice and there were a lot of flat areas to camp. The address was not marked correctly so we had a hard time seeing where the house was. The shared kitchen and bathroom was messy and there were no lights on near or around the property to see. Maybe a few solar lights would help. Beautiful drive and work thr stay
