Full RV hookups
Electrical, water, and sewage hookups are available at select sites.
Quail Ridge RV Park and Campground has almost 17 acres nestled in the Plumas National Forest. We do NOT have direct water access. We are surrounded by seven lakes, with Sly Creek and Lost Lake Reservoirs being the closest (about 3 mi. north of us), two major rivers and the 3rd largest waterfall in California (trail is currently closed until 3/24). Outdoor activities abound with fishing, swimming, boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking trails and mountain biking trails. You can also explore the local rivers and try your luck at gold panning. Our park is primarily divided into three areas: (1) seven RV sites for weekend RV's that have full hook-ups (no pull through sites); (2) an area in the middle of the park where permanent residents live; and (3) an area for our tent campers on the opposite side of the park. Please note that EACH TENT requires its own separate reservation. We have eight magical, secluded and private tent spaces in the forest for campers without children and up to 4 people. If you have more than 4 people, children, or multiple tents, you will stay in our group/family area, which is a large open flat area with a mixture of trees and open space. We have two complimentary propane grills, tables and chairs, picnic tables, dish washing area and clean porta potty that are available for anyone to use in this area. Sorry, but due to the always present fire danger, no cooking or fires are allowed in the Small Tent sites. You may use your own propane or charcoal grill in the family/large tent area, or you may use our complimentary grills. We have clean laundry and showers and flush toilets on the other side of the park approximately 250' away from the tent sites. There is one shower and one flush toilet for men and women that are handicapped accessible. Showers cost $1 for 12 minutes of hot water. Cell phone service is spotty. AT&T/Cricket and sometimes Verizon work the best. There is a cell phone signal booster located in the office that can boost your AT&T/Cricket signal so you can probably use your phone (but no guarantees). We also have free Wi-Fi around the office area. Quail Ridge RV Park is very pet friendly. However, we cannot accept aggressive breed dogs, or Pit-Bull mixed dogs (sorry, but our insurance company restricts these breeds). Please identify the dog breed when you are making a reservation. RV Site 7
Great location, best staff
We stayed there for 2 nights and had selected RV Site 7. The location of the RV campground is good and is right off the main road. It has all the hook-ups - water, electricity (both 30 amps and 50 amps I think) and sewage. This was our first time RV-ing so we preferred a place with all hookups. The staff is very friendly and the bathrooms were very clean. They close the bathrooms at night - which we didn't know, but they offered to open up for us which was very gracious. There are long term residents on the RV place, so that's something to keep in mind which we didn't know (totally on us we should have researched before)

RV-Site 3
Pamela is an amazing host. We had 3 spots booked and she/her family was very accommodating with our requests. Definitely recommend the campsite.

A tranquil stay in the forest
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time camping at Quail Ridge. Pamela was a very hostpitable and attentive host and gave us so much interesting information about the park and surrounding area. The forest was beautiful and the amenities were satisfactory, we immediately felt at home and had a wonderful time. We would love to come again!

This place was very nice! Staff was friendly and overall had a good time with my family. Less than a 10 minute drive to the lake and the lake was fun to swim in. The place had volleyball nets and badminton equipment we could use. Very fun overall.

Loves it!
We had so much fun! Loved how it wasn't over crowded when we went. It's nice and quiet. I love how they have activities and games for the kids too. There was a porta potty very close to the family campsites. And they also have a restroom with flushing toilets and a shower a short walk from the tent camp site. Pamela was super sweet!! And the maintenance man was also very nice and introduced him self and gave the kids glow sticks. Over all it was a great experience and would love to go back!

Quail Ridge-Small Tents-No children
The park was very quiet and peaceful. The price was great for full hookups. Close to Sly Creek recreation area, where we hiked, picnicked and fished. The staff were helpful and pleasant. There are a fair number of long-term, semi permanent residents which may not appeal to some. But everyone we encountered was friendly.
