What a great experience! We loved this place. It’s peaceful and tranquil and very close to Saguaro National Park. Very well kept area including the bathroom. Host Michael is very friendly, and will give you good tips on places to visit if you ask him. Cannot recommend it enough!

John and I had a wonderful time in Marana at Michaels. The site was huge and nowhere near any other campers. This is kind of what you would say is high desert, so there aren’t a lot of trees. But there is foliage all Around. Michael also raises goats on his property. We were not right next to them, but we’re definitely able to see them playing and just being goats. Something we never do in Phoenix that’s for sure. The campsite Kitt was very large and it made it very easy with our trailer because it is a pull through. We had more room than we needed for us and our two dogs. Michael has put up a beautiful Ramada at the site with a picnic table. There is a fire pit and we did buy wood from Michael but did not use it because it was a little too breezy at night. We also ordered one half dozen fresh Farm eggs, which was quite a treat for us. I had never had them before. When we arrived, The eggs were there, the wood for the fire , as well as a shovel and a watering can with water in it to put out the fire. He has thought of everything but kept saying if we needed anything just don’t hesitate to ask. we won’t be able to go back again until fall. But we most certainly are looking forward to going back for our second stay. Also, there is plenty of room and trails for walking and especially biking. We’re bringing our bikes next time. We definitely recommend going to Iron Quail Ranch.

Top Notch Campsite
This was a top rate experience in every respect. The campsite was well laid out, and included a tent pad; dining room complete with metal roof, solar lights, and rain barrel with spigot; fire ring with shovel, water bucket, and wall for sitting; driveway long enough for a second tent and car or RV. The kitchen and bathroom were clean and very well put together. Michael was welcoming, friendly and very responsive. I highly recommend this spot. Also, it's only about a 15 minute drive to Saguaro West, an hour from Saguaro East, and 45 minutes from Catalina State Park. It's also right outside of Ironwood Forest National Monument. I would stay here again!

Beautiful Iron Quail Ranch
We loved our 2-night stay here! Such a beautiful site with great amenities: covered table area, fresh water, super nice bathroom with hot water and shower, outdoor kitchen area and solar lighting. Plus chickens and goats. And quail! Ideal location for exploring Saguaro National Park. Mike and Sabina were friendly and approachable.

Iron Quail Ranch
Michael was a great host with a very lovely property! They gave us privacy but were also always there to help if we needed. It was very nice getting to stay so close to Saguaro National Park and you can even see the park visitor center from the campsite. The showers and kitchen area were also so great to have! Would defintely stay here again!

S’mores and more
I loved tent camping on Micheal’s ranch! He was the perfect host. There was a scenic view with gorgeous night time skies filled with stars! We loved the gazebo, picnic table, and the whole site was perfectly crafted to enjoy our camping trip. He even has firewood for a great sale if you run out. The location was super close to the nearby national park and the Tucson mountain park. The ranch was beautiful. There were chickens, goats, and a lovely garden. The bathroom and shower was exactly what we needed for a multi-night stay and extremely clean. I highly recommend staying here. Be sure to get the farm fresh eggs!!!! 1000% better than anything you can buy in a store. 10/10.
