We have a 50 acre family farm. We have lots of animals, a wooded area with natural springs. A pool with slide and diving board. A pool house with screened in picnic area. Bathroom with toilet and sink. Outdoor solar powered shower. Animal encounters with farm tour. Alpacas, emus, mini donkeys. Horses, peacocks, turkeys, ducks, geese, guineas, goats, pigs, chickens, cows and moreThis is a working farm. We are always in the middle of a project. We have lots of animals to see and feed. We have a pool with a slide and diving board. A pool house that includes a toilet and sink. Outdoor solar powered shower. Picnic table, fire pit. We live here and use the pool and enjoy the property as well.

Best camping spot

This is the best place on Hipcamp! The area has tons of cool animals and space. The Rockwoods are the nicest people! I swear this sounds like paid advertising, but it’s true

Get to Rockwood Farm ASAP!

I truly can’t say enough good things about Rockwood Farm! Angel and Carl care so much about their animals and their property and it shows. Not only by how healthy the animals look but especially by how people friendly and gentle they are… even with our three crazy little boys. Our camper tucked in perfectly behind the pool house where we were able to plug into shore power, water, and septic if needed… that’s a super bonus! Angel made us feel so welcomed and gave us free range of the property and the pool. We only stayed for one night but we WILL be back. 10/10 would recommend over and over again!

Laughs, animals, stargazing & more

I’m gonna start this off by saying this is one of the best (if not, the best) places I’ve ever camped at. The hosts, Angel and Rockwood are amazing and super friendly people. They are HILARIOUS people, I was laughing the entire time I stayed here. We forgot to bring some stuff and they were very accommodating. I completely forgot to bring food the first night due to rushing, they made me a whole gigantic sandwich!! They give you the love you didnt realized you needed. There were so many different farm animals with their own personalities, it was really awesome to meet them. We got to feed emus and deer and eat berries off of home grown berry trees. At night, I set up my telescope and they came out to look at images of galaxies and different nebulae I took. We looked at the Milky Way and other things in the night sky.
