*** By order of Delaware Dept of Agriculture, No out of State firewood*** Primitive camping on a land bridge between two ponds, just a fire ring, metal table, and comfortable chairs. Also a concrete table and 3 benches. Mature forest for hiking, bird watching. Canoe, small johnboat, or kayaks OK. There are two creeks and two ponds. 130 acres of forest, field, creeks, and an old borrow pit that is now the pond area. I prefer mature couples and small groups, emphasis on mature. It is 25 min. to Cape Henlopen State Park. 10 minutes to Killen's Pond State Park. If you have a larger boat, the boat ramp for Haven lake is across the street from the property and Blair's & Abbot's Pond down the road. My ponds have deep water with steep sides, no children under 10, please. I'm not a fan of teenagers either, they are always getting into something, better to find a place with amenities, like nearby Killen's Pond State Park. No swimming. I have two campsites, but there is plenty of space in between camps and woods to explore. The property is on the edge of town, so there is some highway noise, industrial noise, and the possibility of farm work happening around you. A porta potty is onsite. This is not a party place. Leave it the way you found it. Pack it out, please. Also, please don't throw eggshells, nutshells, or onion peels around camp. Yes, they are biodegradable but not pretty. Don't hack down live trees or break branches off trees in the middle of camp, or anywhere else. Yes, that has happened more than once. There are plenty of fallen branches and kindling in the woods. Guys, don't urinate around camp, it smells. Yes, that has happened too. Can't believe I have to say things that should be obvious. I have a beautiful place and don't want it defiled by people with no respect. ~~ Thank you

I love the two ponds
Michele was an amazing host and her site, a soft and sandy land bridge between two crystal clear ponds, was an awesome experience. She provided a big bundle of wood at a good price and offered her services for anything we might need. The site is private and quiet…but not far from any needs in town. Great fishing in the ponds, plenty of shade to keep you pretty cool even on the hottest of days (it was 92 most days we were there but felt great in the shade with the breeze off the water). The nights were incredible with a view of the night sky and the toads and frogs for a soundtrack. Even the mosquitoes weren’t too bad despite the ponds on either side of us. Can’t wait to get back!
It’s a beautiful location with an accommodating host, and I’ve made an annual trip there for the last three years. Awesome scenery during the day and a nightly chorus of frogs and toads to lullaby you to sleep at night.
Wow. What a peaceful slice of shady heaven well hidden from the hustle of Milford and all the chaos of beach bound travellers.
A unique property that Michele allowed us to enjoy for a two day camp. Michele's communication prior to check in was clear , timely and friendly. Michele, thank you for this opportunity to enjoy this hipcamp experience.
Lovely little spot
Great stay at between the ponds!!! Lovely site and natural amenities to catch your fancy..very relaxing spot. Pet friendly. The host, Michele, is so sweet and really goes above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. Left our kayak oar at home by accident and she borrowed one from a neighbor just to lend to us! Would highly recommended this site but kinda want to keep it secret lol! It was a great weekend get away and hope to be back soon!
