We have great hiking and wildlife viewing, marmots, pronghorn, antelope, deer, elk, and an occasional moose. Birds of every feather gather here so bring your binoculars. Hikes include balancing boulders and rock formations. Wonderful stargazing, our stars are so bright it seems like you can reach up and touch them. We are a working ranch and do have livestock. Don’t mess with the bull!Firewood, for $7.00 per bag delivered to your campsite. The bags make a great trash bag when empty! Do not bring your own firewood, as we don’t want more pine beetles and noxious weeds. Due to the high volume of people coming in separate vehicles, after two vehicles per site, its $10.00 per vehicle extra per night. We have portable outhouses available.

There are Mountain Lakes, Plains Lakes, the Big Laramie River, Snowy Range Down Hill Ski Area all with in a 60 mile radius. There is public access to the Big Laramie River across the highway where you can fish or walk the public access path that runs next to it. Saratoga, WY Hot Springs are about 90 miles west and makes for a beautiful drive. Snowy Range Mountain offers trails for hiking, cross country skiing and snow shoeing, Star gazing from the Little Cabin, Gazebo or hot tub is amazing. There is no light pollution which allows a view of the stars some have never seen.

We have firewood $7.00 per bag delivered to your campsite. Do not bring your own firewood. We don’t want more pine beetles and noxious weeds. Open space near our place: Eagle's Nest, Red Mountain and Soapstone Prairie. When we are not in a fire-ban, we will supply a fire-pit, BUT, you MUST bring your own fire extinguisher. We charge for wood, $15 a bundle--it’s over $300 a cord now!!! Less than 43 miles from Laramie and Cheyenne, and only a half hour drive to Fort Collins. NO toilets or showers are provided! RV PARKING: 5 sites! Sites 1-5 allow pets and kids. Water hook ups in sites 4, and 5. Site 7 &; 8 has shade from 6:30 pm on., but can only be booked without kids or pets.
