Greensboro serves as a top-notch base camp for Vermont's best state parks. Just over 30 minutes from town is Elmore State Park, home to Lake Elmore and Elmore Mountain. Stay at a state-park campground with lean-tos and standard campsites. Both have access to flush toilets and coin-operated showers. There’s a hike for everyone here—take the Lake Loop Trail for an easy stroll with stunning lake views, or try the Elmore Mountain Fire Tower Trail for a challenging trek to a historic fire tower.
