Our farm is an agritourism farm that offers seasonal events, educational workshops, a petting zoo and animal therapy for a fee. It is free to walk around the farm and visit our animals, but there is a cost to go inside the barnyard for a petting zoo experience. Our large grassy field can accommodate multiple tent campers, travel trailers and RVs less than 30'. We have picnic tables, porta potties and fire rings for each camping party to have their own space.

Listen to birdsong and watch clouds during the day, wander a path through our ca. 5 acres of woods, and star watch at night. We have a 24x16 enclosed stage that can be used for bands, educational classes, karaoke, yoga... ect. There is also an outdoor movie theater that is available to rent for an evening. There are a few restaurants close by and we are only 6 miles from downtown Mocksville. There are a lot of wineries and breweries within a 30 min drive from our property. We are about 15 minutes from river access to the Yadkin river for anyone looking to Kayak. There are lots of local fishing holes and places to go horseback riding. We are about an hour drive to lots of different hiking trails from pilot mountain, and hanging rock to the blue ridge parkway. We have 2 dogs that live here and will greet you at the gate. Please be respectful of the neighbors and drive slowly down the dirt road to our property to limit dust. We look forward to hosting your camping get away.

2 Ponds & a Pup

We have two corgis that play & run around on our property as well. It is near a main road so you may hear some traffic from time to time, but it is very peaceful most of the time. We have no neighbors close by, except the horses and cows. We live on the front side of property facing the main road, and campsite is located at the back facing a fenced area with neighboring fields with horses and donkeys & sometimes the cows wander up on the opposite field. There are large trees that block a view of the main road, hedges that block some of the side road, and newly planted bushes on the opposite side of the fire pit. While at the fire pit, you may see the back side of our home, but you will enjoy complete privacy from our family if that is what you prefer. You may be greeted by our two curious corgis from time to time but if that is worrisome to you, please let us know and we will accommodate you as best we can! If you need a more glamping experience, we have a tiny home/glamper on site as well with TV & a plush queen size bed with a/c and heat. Just message me for details if you can’t find it here. We are just a mile away from Red Oak Brewery & the highway. There’s some awesome breweries and wineries nearby and in Greensboro as well, and we’re happy to tell you where some are if you have questions! There is a TA truck stop with showers for rent if you need a shower. We’re also not far from a brand new Planet Fitness in Burlington if you have a membership with them and need a shower. Instacart delivers here as well as Ubereats and doordash. There are a lot of close restaurants and fast food and a CVS, so if you have any questions about food, I’m happy to help!

A retreat homestead outside city limits and still close enough to have access to local food or shopping. Our goal is to cultivate a peaceful place for all our guests to rest, heal and rediscover joy! Our sites are pack in and pack out camping. At this time we are a primitive campground. We do have some allotted spots or a large field. We are a working property! And will do our best to let you know if you are coming when we have works days. We invite the community to volunteer on the property monthly. You're welcome to join! We have a working 24/7 prayer house. Please note that this is a place people come and go and is to be considered a reverent place. We do not allow guests to sleep inside the prayer house. Our farm is an agritourism farm that offers seasonal events, educational workshops, a petting zoo and animal therapy for a fee. It is free to walk around the farm and visit our animals, but there is a cost to go inside the barnyard for a petting zoo experience. To visit the farm which includes the petting zoo, Farm store and chicken pen, you would need to arrive on either a Friday or Saturday afternoon since we are only open on weekends from 10-4. Our campsites are reasonably priced at $25/night for a maximum of 2 nights. We don't have hookups, so bring a generator if you need it. We do have a 250-gallon water tote with hose for you to fill up containers of water. If you need to fill up your RV water tank, we charge a flat $10. Please coordinate with us prior to your arrival so we can everything ready for you to fill. ************************************************************************************** We offer both tent and RV camping in an empty pasture adjacent to our grazing pasture where you can enjoy our animals in their natural habitat. Or, come up to the barn and get up close and personal with them during an "Animal Therapy" session if you will be here Sat or Sun! Pitch your tent on the edge of the woods or close by the stream in the woods. If you enjoy watching wildlife, you're in for a treat...this magical portion of the farm provides a forest cover for songbirds, owls, deer, red-shouldered hawks, both red and gray fox and wild turkey. We allow check-ins during the week, which may be perfect for folks passing through and just need a safe and quiet place to park for the night and not interested in visiting the farm store, the barnyard or the rest of the farm, which are closed until the weekends. We will let you check in any time after noon and check out the next day by noon. Weekends from 10-4 we open the Farm to visitors (campers and non-campers alike) to visit our animals and our Farm Store with a variety of groceries, supplies, gifts, and critter snacks so you can feed your choice of animals! While we are dog-friendly, we also observe a dog-free zone, which is any area where we have our animals, so enjoy your leashed pet around the camping area, woods or along our driveway but please do not bring your dog past the gates that lead to our house, chicken yard, farm store, barn or petting zoo. Our large grassy field can accommodate multiple tent campers, travel trailers and RVs less than 30'. We have picnic tables, porta potties and fire rings for each camping party to have their own space.
