Owner will be on the property from time to time staying at their cabin, so you may see them here and there. Excellent property to set up folf nets or just enjoy the quiet scenery of deer and listen to the birds. We just ask that you keep the property clean and be respectful. Pack in pack out.

Our retreat is small and quiet with only two cabins; the 570 Sq/ft Beartooth and 200 sq/ft Trapper. And three upscale canvas structures; the Lodgepole, the Ponderosa, and the Larch. All experiences are listed separately through Hipcamp. Every traveler will experience… …a queen and full bed in each accommodation – with the exception of the Trapper which has one queen bed. Though you will need to make your own mealtime accommodations, you will find enough in-cabin water, coffee, and tea to start each day on the right foot. A small grill is also provided. Remember, it’s a simple retreat so don’t forget ample bottled water, paper plates, cutlery, and everything else you need before you come in from town. You're dusk and dawn can be lit by the solar lights and small propane heaters will take the chill from the early mornings. But hey - it's hybrid, right? We provide the shelter...you pack like a happy camper. This is a camping experience, but in the area… …you will find Potomac Bar and Grill just 10 minutes away where you will find a wonderful rural café that offers every meal of the day. Fifteen minutes north, you will find Paws Up which offers extravagant dining experiences. Twenty-five minutes further you will find the town of Seeley Lake which offers all you would expect from a quaint Montana rural community. This property is located less than 1/4 mile from the little town of Ovando, where guests can fuel up vehicles and purchase ice and grocery items from the Ovando Commercial Company, grab a bite to eat at Trixi's Saloon or The Stray Bullet, visit the museum, or talk flyfishing with the knowlegeable folks over at the Blackfoot Angler. There is also a post office, a river shuttle company, and a church.

There is a creek running through the property, which is home to little native cuthroat trout and is suitable for fishing CATCH AND RELEASE ONLY! The location of the property is fantastic, with the Clark Fork River and numerous other high-quality fishing spots like Rock Creek just minutes away. Moreover, the Kettlehouse Amphitheater, known for its impressive lineup, is only 7.5 miles away via a frontage road. It is a convenient 22-minute drive from downtown Missoula, although staying here offers its own unique charm and appeal. We are dog-friendly and offer full hook-ups for your convenience.

Beautiful 20 acre homestead, surrounded by the Garnet Mountains. We have beautiful small lakes where you can observe wild life and migratory water fowl and beautiful song birds and go on small walks around the lakes or take your mountain bike or e-bike and enjoy a ride on the ranch roads surrounding the area. Come on over to our homestead and take a small tour of our greenhouse and gardens, we have seasonal produce to sell and rabbits to pet! We sell farm fresh eggs and raw goats milk and soft goat cheeses! We also have hand crafted lip balms with essential oils and we welcome you to enjoy our fire pit area and wood fired hot tub, all the while viewing the small lakes around our homestead. The Hot Tub is an extra charge of $20. We also have a luxurious outdoor hot water shower available for use as well! Reserve the hot tub at check in! Come prepared! We are in grizzly country , BE BEAR AWARE! All campers need to keep all ice chests and food away from their tents and in their cars when not using them! This is grizzly and black bear country, keep all cooking utensils , dog food and pans , in your vehicle when not in use! Very important to obey the bear rules and stay safe! Thank you and we want you to have a safe and enjoyable camp out! Please be advised to follow these directions to the campsite grounds, the google map takes you to the wrong entrance and we have had issues getting this changed. As you come into Drummond, head to Helmville road , turn right and follow this road that parallels I-90, then turn left onto highway 271 to Helmville. So follow highway 271 towards Helmville , at 13.1 miles , turn right onto Weaver hill crossing a cattle guard. Go up the hill and follow the road and keep to the left of the first Y and continue on for 3.5 miles until you come to the second large Y and stay to the right of it. Continue on for another 3.2 miles un til you see a green chimney lakes sign and turn right and continue in on to our driveway! There is no cell service up here , so you will have to connect to our Wi-Fi when you arrive, to be able to call or text out. Please use your trip counter in your car or truck to help you with mileage. Remember to save these directions before you loose cell service!😊

Flathead Lake Cherry Farm Camping

Learn more about this land: Enjoy lake view camping on an all Organic Cherry Farm. This 20-acre farm is nestled in the forest on Finley Point on Flathead Lake. It gives you a wide-open and cradled feeling at the same time. There is a view of the lake and mountains from almost all the camp spots. There are deer and turkeys that continuously roam the orchard. Enjoy the Big Montana Sky at night with an amazing view of the stars. You can pick your own fresh organic cherries for only $2 a pound. You can also just snack on some from your campsite. Cherry season this year will be from July 18th to Aug 5th. Nearby attractions include: Access to Flathead Lake is less than a 1/2 mile down the driveway. Flathead Lake (Finley Point) State Park is only 2 miles away. At the entrance to Finley Point, we have two great Restaurants, Finley Point Grill and the Smokehouse (Highly Recommended!). The town of Polson is 20 minutes away. You can find everything you need from supplies, to bars, restaurants, boat rentals, public parks, and even a casino. The town of Big Fork is only 45 minutes away and is a must-see. This town has an old-west feel with great shops, restaurants, a live theater, and an old iron bridge over the river. Glacier National Park is an hour and twenty minutes away. The driveway up to the orchard is made of gravel and is a bit steep at the beginning, At times there can be a few ruts so be cautious. Most standard passenger cars can make it up the driveway with no problem. Due to campers having trouble navigating the driveway with trailers we no longer allow trailers or RV's over 22 feet. Lowered vehicles are not recommended.
