Witheniwe Stays

5 sites ¡ Tents400 acres ¡ KY
Witheniwe (Shawnee Indian for provisions) Stays has been in our family for five generations. Our property contains 400 acres of pasture fields and quiet woodlands with 10+ miles of private hiking/mountain biking trails. Nestled amongst the peaceful hills are beautiful vistas and rock formations. The woodlands include 200 year old oak trees, abundant maple, poplar and other hardwood trees sprinkled with pines and cedar trees. We are a hobby farm with orchards, greenhouses, and hoop houses. Since our farm has been in our family for so long, we know exactly what is in and what is not in our soil. We utilize all organic growing practices. As a guest, you would have access to seasonal fruits and vegetables, farm fresh eggs (chicken and Guinea), as well as campfire wood bundles for a small price. Spotted on the farm is an amazing abundance of wildlife including wild turkeys, white tailed deer, pileated woodpeckers, bobcats, red tailed hawks, and a nest of bald head eagles.. It is truly a beautiful slice of heaven. Please come and enjoy.

Myhio Haven Horse Farm

4 sites ¡ Tents60 acres ¡ West Portsmouth, OH
Established in 1983 on a 60-acre plot of land right in the Shawnee State Forest. The property is beautiful with flat land, fields, and at the back are the foot hills of the Appalachian Mountains. We put a horse farm on the land in 2000. The horses here are my family and I want to expand and offer more opportunities on the land. That's when I came across Hipcamp! I'm excited to share a piece of my heaven that I'm fortunate enough to call home.
