The best farm glamping near Cantley, Quebec

We had such a lovely stay at Greenoak. The hosts were so friendly and approachable and there were lots of lovely small touches that made the yurts feel homely and comfortable. The log burners and electric blankets meant that we were warm over night and had a really comfortable sleep. We are looking forward to going in the Summer to be able to enjoy more daylight hours. The boys (4 and 7) loved all of the friendly animals and the play equipment on the land, as well as the hot tub! We will definitely book again and would recommend to our friends and family! Thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to visiting again next year!

Weekend Trip to Greenoak Hideout

The setting was just perfect for our family of five (including two dogs and a 4 year old). The Yurt was comfortable, clean and very cosy. The private shower and toilet facilities were great, as was the hot tub. We had a trip to the local nature reserve during our stay, however think our daughter and the dogs were just as happy in the grounds with lots to explore, very friendly animals and lots of activities including trampoline and climbing walls. The pod was nice, clean, and well-maintained, and although four pods were located in a row, it felt very private, largely due to large open field in front. Excellent location to visit Haddon Hall, less than 5 min drive.

1 night at Bircham Windmill

Spotlessly clean, the showers and facilities were as good as at home, the extra added thoughtfulness of clean bath mats tea towels washing up liquid and lots of toilet paper and hand towel and soap. My shepherds hut was delightful, and yet again everything I needed with the welcoming cream tea, milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, spotlessly clean as everywhere was. The windmill, the bakery, the café, my grandchildren loved the animals and the play area. There is absolutely not a thing I can think of that was not perfect. Oh I forgot to mention the games room. This was our first camping holiday with our son and dog. We all had an amazing time, the staff decorated the pod for my son's birthday and left marshmallows and sparklers which my son loved! The space is very generous for the children to play and make friends. We did the fairy trail which was a nice walk to see the site.

We had a lovely stay at Little Ranch. Rod made us feel so welcome and our daughter loved exploring the farm and meeting the animals. The hut is beautifully designed being both spacious and and cosy, with everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay. The little extras on arrival really made it special. We enjoyed some nice walks along the canal, evenings toasting marshmallows by the fire and just really appreciated the peaceful location. We highly recommend Little Ranch and hope to be back again soon!

Beautiful setting with friendly animals to feed, I would recommend for a relaxed getaway. The gardens are perfect for children to explore and play, securely fenced with park facilities.

It was a really relaxing get away, the cabin is beautiful and well made. The canal view is really tranquil and calming. The cabin is well equipped and the beds are lovely The animals onsite were adorable. Lovely play area for the kids. A nice little place to escape to.

A spotless shepherds hut, welcoming with some delicious treats. A lovely place to stay with great views after climbing the windmill, freshly baked bread on the premises and friendly staff. Clean showers and bathrooms. Farm animals such as chickens, donkey and a horse in the field and the owl calling at night.

4 nights at Bircham Windmill

The pitches are a really good size so you don't feel on top of each other. It is a small site, which is a bonus. The shepherd's hut was really comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches and a cream tea to welcome you. The site is very pretty and sitting in the morning with a cup of tea looking at the windmill and seeing the horse, donkey, lambs and chicken was a wonderful start to the day.

My 2nd time coming here and it didn't disappoint, I didn't want to leave. The pod are beautiful and cosy, exceptionally clean and well looked after. The pods are situation slightly upground which gives them a spectacular view Its so peaceful if you want time to unwind and I really enjoyed the company of the two chickens and the three ducks that visit. Also I love the log bundles that you can buy for the fire pit as it makes starting a fire so easy. Carole and Howard are so friendly and hospitable. Would definitely recommend.
