The bush area has been used for camping by many local and visiting scouting groups over the years. In 2021, we joined Hip Camp and now allow others to enjoy the beauty, peace, and challenges of camping in our bush. The alpacas are a peaceful herd to watch as they graze their way through the day. Crias (baby alpacas), love to pronk and play in the pastures near their mothers. During May you may observe us shearing the alpacas. June is the birthing and breeding month. They birth quickly, so watch carefully. Tours of the farm with explanations of the fibre harvest process and opportunities to walk the alpacas are available to be booked through our website.

5/5 Stars. Truly remarkable David’s land was extremely peaceful and easily accessible. What stood out the most was how quiet and private it felt; you could actually relax and hear nature around you. The property was well kept, and the host was friendly and responsive. There’s plenty of open space for camping, a nice fire pit area, and great views (especially at sunset). Perfect spot if you’re looking to unplug for a bit. Not a Negative, however, this property appears to have high activity of coyotes, located approximately 50 - 100 feet away from Site 2. Coyotes are fairly timid and gutless animals but be cautious if bringing pets and or little ones, as the cries and howls can be a bit overwhelming. Coins in a can is a must-have to startle them peacefully.

Beautiful location! The host is very hospitable. There is electricity and water hookups. You can bring your rv or tent! There is a little river to canoe or paddle boat on. There are trails to walk all around the property! Overall great time will be back next year for a longer visit! One note, if you're bringing an animal make sure you clean their paws lol the ground has sand mixed with grass.

Just a great bit of land for group camping. The field is healthy mowed grass and tree lined, with some woods that provide privacy and shade and cut out virtually any road noise (and make for great hammock camping). The ground is nice and essy for staking and sleeping on, and Chris and Denise have set up several fire pits that serve the need nicely. The site is set adjacent from the shop far back enough to have great privacy, and the hosts are wonderful. Strong recommend for group campouts when you want to be near enough to civilization while looking for a unique spot to stay that affords a feeling of isolation.

The back glen was absolutely perfect. I went in the end of September and the weather was perfect. Charles was very kind and accommodating as well! You can fish and swim in the water, as well as walk some trails along the fields. I set up a hammock by the convenient porta potty and it was perfect. The ground is very level as well for anyone with tents. I will definitely be coming back again!

We spend a weekend at David's property and loved it. The sites are well placed on the property around the pond. There are canoes paddle boats and boards for your use. Ample firewood is included as well as a dozen farm fresh eggs. David was a wonderful host and very attentive to his beautiful property. We had a great time walking on some.of the pathes with our dogs. Also my wife really appreciated the flush toilet in the outhouse! What a great touch. 10/10
