Our Campsite is in the small town of Little Britain and is just a few kilometres away, as are the shores of Lake Scugog. Take a free optional tour of our farm, if you wish. Pets are welcome but we ask that they remain to the confines of the site This property sits in a rural area in the Kawartha Lakes region, just north of Lake Scugog. Campfires are allowed in the firepit, and there is a pit toilet. The hosts offer fresh eggs and farm produce to purchase, as well as a firewood bundle that will be ready for you when you arrive; just select the options you are interested in at checkout.  The lakes area offers endless boating, paddling, fishing, and hiking opportunities. Nearby attractions include Emily Provincial Park at the bottom of Pigeon Lake, about 35 km east; Ken Reid Conservation Area at the southern tip of Sturgeon Lake, about 25 km north; and Sibbald Point Provincial Park about 50 km west on Lake Simcoe, which has a boat launch, hiking trail, and sandy beach. For restaurants, groceries, and shops, the town of Lindsay is 20 minutes away.

Weekend Trip to Forest Cabin
The forest cabin was everything I’d hope for and more. I wanted a place to get away and reconnect with nature and that’s exactly what I got out of my stay. I went for hikes through the property, got to play with the sheep and the dogs! And like others have said in their reviews, by far the best outhouse I’ve ever soon! I would 100% recommend staying here! I’ll be back to check it out in the spring or summer!

She is super kind and hospitable❤️ The property is very beautiful and well maintained. The tent is warm and cozy, she actually gave us a heated blanket it was nearly freezing that evening She also told me that I can ring her up anytime if we need anything. Everdale is a special place! The straw cabin is simple, comfortable and so quiet! I felt safe as a person going there solo and walked their well loved and cared for land extensively. It was an education as well in that they have a regenerative farm. Being a long time gardener myself, it was interesting to read the sign posts on my walk explaining different aspects of regenerative farming and the lands ecology. I'll definitely come back and in the colder months, be sure you're comfortable keeping the woodstove going, you may need to split wood, etc. Also, being solar powered, if it's a cloudy day, the lights may go off early. I was glad I brought a battery operated lamp. Great place, great feeling there.!

We had such a great family weekend staying with Donna near Mono Cliffs! The spot was peaceful, clean, and perfect for our trailer. Donna was so kind and helpful — it was a busy weekend at the park, and she went out of her way to show us where the locals park instead of the main provincial park lot, which made things so much easier. The kids loved exploring and we enjoyed being surrounded by nature but still close to everything. We’d absolutely stay again — thank you, Donna, for making it such a relaxing and welcoming stay!

We had such a wonderful stay at Shiloh Barn! Jess and Mark were amazing hosts — super kind, welcoming, and always available if we needed anything. What a great spot! The sunsets over the pond are incredible. Lots of flat spots for tents. Great hammock spots. The closeness to Mono Cliffs is amazing and Donna is super helpful in providing recommendations for hiking and parking. While the house is visible form the site. There is still a sense of privacy. This was our second attempt to camp at Shiloh Barn. We needed to cancel our previous booking due to a family matter. Jessica was 100% helpful during the cancelation and rebooking process with me. Thankfully, we rebooked for this weekend. The weather was amazing. The property is beautiful. Well taken care of. Lots of amenities and nice touches for glamping so there isn't too much that you need to pack. The glamping area with the barn and large tent is at the back of the property. Very spacious area that you have all to yourself. Clean, well tended too, and extremely private. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely like to return. Thanks for being great hosts. Our only suggestion would be a picnic table, but we adapted by carrying out the small table at the barn to enjoy the beautiful weather.
