Located just 45 minutes from Toronto, it offers the perfect blend of serenity and convenience. The Space: This tiny house offers stunning forest and water views with a cozy, open-concept design. Inside, you'll find: • Kitchenette: Equipped with essentials, including a toaster oven, electric cooktop, French press, Starbucks coffee, teas, and basic condiments. • Living Area: A convenient sitting space with a bar countertop overlooking the river. • Sleeping Area: A full-size mattress covered with a waterproof sanitize cover with a couple of blankets and pillows will be provided in the sleeping area. Hosts recommend that guests bring their own towels, bedding sets, or sleeping bags. The mattress is double or full size. • Bathroom: Since the tiny home is off grid there is just a sink with a faucet pump and a compost toilet. Like most folks who’ve been bitten by the water ski bug, I dreamed of having my own lake and when I met my life partner Harald, an elite slalom skier, my search began in earnest. By a combination of good timing and good luck, I was able to make that dream come true and in the spring of 2014 I acquired this land with the hopes of building my dream water ski lake on it. 7 years later, we have a thriving water ski club and are constantly making improvements to the site. We now have decided to add some sites for rent to share this incredible property with others outside the water ski community. Site #1 is a small cabin that sleeps 3 and site #2 is a small houseboat that has been converted to a bunkie. Onsite activities include use of a canoe and paddleboard. Use of a kid's swingset and olympic trampoline. Swimming and fishing. Pets are welcome, campfires are permitted.

Charging phones and small personal electronics is no issue; however, we have limited power beyond what is provided with the tent & amenities. This is an active farm and there will be the occasional tractors that drive by, farmers out in the field at times, and bird bangers are put in the vineyard in mid August to mid September. They only go off periodically between 9:30am and dusk to accommodate guests peaceful mornings. Please exercise caution & respect while on the property with regards to the weather, wildlife, and farmers/neighbours. Hot Days / Hot Nights - For your comfort, plug in the Dyson fan to cool down, or unzip the tent to maximize airflow. This has proven to be effective as temperatures tend to cool down in the evenings around the farm. Cool Days / Cool Nights - We supply plenty of blankets for cooler evenings. We also suggest snuggling up with your favourite person who is sharing the glamping experience with you.

Weekend Trip to Forest Cabin
The forest cabin was everything I’d hope for and more. I wanted a place to get away and reconnect with nature and that’s exactly what I got out of my stay. I went for hikes through the property, got to play with the sheep and the dogs! And like others have said in their reviews, by far the best outhouse I’ve ever soon! I would 100% recommend staying here! I’ll be back to check it out in the spring or summer!

We didn't end up going to the location after booking it for a night because of snow but Nancy was flexible enough to provide us refund. She from her own told us its ok if you don't come over even on the day of the booking. This shows that she has some values. We will try and go over to her location anytime soon. Nancy is a great host.

She is super kind and hospitable❤️ The property is very beautiful and well maintained. The tent is warm and cozy, she actually gave us a heated blanket it was nearly freezing that evening She also told me that I can ring her up anytime if we need anything. So sweet of her 🤩 The place is very romantic and we loved it!

Everdale is a special place! The straw cabin is simple, comfortable and so quiet! I felt safe as a person going there solo and walked their well loved and cared for land extensively. It was an education as well in that they have a regenerative farm. Being a long time gardener myself, it was interesting to read the sign posts on my walk explaining different aspects of regenerative farming and the lands ecology. I'll definitely come back and in the colder months, be sure you're comfortable keeping the woodstove going, you may need to split wood, etc. Also, being solar powered, if it's a cloudy day, the lights may go off early. I was glad I brought a battery operated lamp. Great place, great feeling there.!

Wow! We came in mid October to see the autumn colors. What a great experience! First off the hosts are amazing and very helpful. The lodge itself is very comfy, the bed is super clean and comfy as well. There's enough firewood for the whole stay (2 Nights). Oh and our dog loved it as well! The place is around 20 min drive away from any nature hike, and there are plenty in the area. Highly reccomend

When I arrived, I like the fact that the host was very informative. She gave us a tour of the location and a relaxing atmosphere. We really enjoyed the cabin. It was really very pretty.
