This peaceful, sheltered site has a special character. The site is the ideal place to unwind with plenty of safe space, a meandering river and friendly atmosphere. It offers 4 acres with facilities, 7 acres of wilderness, shower block, level pitches, picturesque river, children’s playground and has been rated AA 4 star gold pennant.
Becky and John both love Cornwall and fell in love with the site as soon as they saw it and it provided the perfect opportunity for a new challenge.
Having only recently taken over at Willow Valley in the Summer of 2024, there are always ongoing improvements being made so make sure you keep in touch. Any returning campers will be glad to know we aren’t changing the campsite itself though. Why would we when it is already so perfect!

Mushroom Meadow and the adjoining woodland are nestled at the bottom of our picturesque 50 acre family farm - with the stream at it's southerly border. Access is via a long farm track (about 750m) and is clearly signed once you arrive at our farm.
The numbered pitches are thoughtfully spaced across the entire meadow. Perfect for those who like lots of space and for children who like to run free.

We’re Mel and Tom, and we’d love to welcome you to our peaceful, eco-friendly camping site, proudly awarded a Silver Green Tourism Award.
Sometimes you just need to slow down and surround yourself with nature. 🌿
If you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, wake up to birdsong, enjoy beautiful lake views and reconnect with nature, you’re in the right place.
Our small, off-grid campsite is surrounded by beautiful Cornish countryside, with a stunning two-acre coarse fishing lake at its heart. Watch damselflies dancing across the water, spot kingfishers and other wildlife, enjoy spectacular sunsets over the lake and spend your evenings beneath some of Cornwall’s darkest skies.
Although you’ll feel wonderfully tucked away, we’re perfectly placed for exploring Cornwall. Mawgan Porth is just 9 miles away, Padstow 10 miles, Newquay 11 miles and Mevagissey 15 miles away, making Tregonetha Lake the perfect base for exploring both the north and south coasts.
As a Freedom Camping Club Certified Site, we offer peaceful, low-impact camping in a natural setting — no membership required.
Camping
Tregonetha Lake is home to around 20 camping pitches, so while you’ll have other campers nearby during busier periods, we’ve designed the site to feel spacious, peaceful and relaxed. Whether you choose a lakeside pitch or one of our secluded woodland pitches, there’s always plenty of room to unwind and enjoy nature.
All camping pitches are non-allocated, so simply choose your favourite spot when you arrive and make yourselves at home.
Fishing
At the heart of the campsite is our beautiful two-acre coarse fishing lake, where guests can enjoy peaceful days by the water surrounded by nature. Fishing day tickets are available during your stay.
🍕 NEW for Summer 2026 – Wildfire Lakeside Bar & Kitchen
From 16th July until the end of August, we’re excited to introduce Wildfire – Lakeside Bar & Kitchen.
Enjoy stone-baked pizzas, homemade loaded nachos, cold drinks and fresh coffee beside the lake while watching the sun go down.

Tom is a keen surfer and is always happy to recommend the best local beaches depending on the weather and surf conditions, while Mel is full of local knowledge to help you make the most of your stay.
We’re a small family-run campsite and genuinely enjoy meeting the people who stay with us. Whether you’re here for a weekend escape, a family holiday or simply passing through, we hope you’ll leave feeling relaxed, refreshed and already planning your next visit.

A small family run campsite located on the famous ice cream farm, Roskilly’s. On the Lizard in South West Cornwall, the farm is remote and tucked away with a Cornish feel, yet there is plenty to do.
The farm has a vast array of animals that you can feed, a large woodland and ponds walk where the cows may be grazing. There are also many stunning beaches and Cornish fishing villages a small walk or drive away. We have a restaurant offering lovely food all day from breakfast to dinner.

We stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days and honestly had such an amazing time. The campsite was beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing. Our spot and the view were absolutely stunning — waking up to that scenery every day was unforgettable.
The facilities were great and everything was very well looked after. The staff were also so kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even better.
This place will definitely stay in our memories for a long time, and I already miss it! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in nature. We will very likely come back again in the future for another relaxing trip.

Tregonetha Lake is one of the most beautiful campsites I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Mel has impeccable taste and an eye for detail- she strikes a wonderful balance between the rustic down to earth back to nature feel and the comfort of beautiful clean showers, impeccably pristine and colourful toilets, washing up sinks, fabulous green and well kept grass. The lake and other paths carefully strewn with bark and decorated with tasteful solar lights- perimeters of the lake have been tastefully landscaped with an abundance of hollyhocks, iris, rhododendrons and other natural plants…. I can’t recommend this site highly enough because it’s just wonderful

This is a beautiful cliff top campsite with stunning sea views and starry skies. We stayed for 2 nights in August and we had a great time. You can walk down to the pretty village of Cadgwith and on further to other beaches and coves. The host Catherine was lovely and delivered a fire pit to our pitch. I stayed for a single night in my campervan and was really impressed with the site. Its quiet, had all the basic facilities I needed and is well maintained. The fishing lake is lovely and the 2 anglers I watched seemed to be catching some nice fish. Mel & Tom are friendly, welcoming hosts and were kind enough to share some tips on good local beaches for surfing & bodyboarding (reason for my being in Cornwall). I would certainly come back again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cadgwith Camping! The views from our pitch were nothing short of spectacular waking up each morning to such stunning scenery really made the trip special. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, which made us feel at home right away. We had actually mixed up our booking dates, but they were so understanding and accommodating, allowing us to switch things around without any hassle at all, such a relief when you’re travelling!
Another lovely touch was the little food stand on site, offering different meals each day. It was really convenient and added something extra to the camping experience, especially after a long day exploring.
This was our very first trip to Cornwall, and staying at Cadgwith Camping truly made it memorable. The combination of the beautiful setting, kind staff, and great facilities made it such a positive experience and we were even lucky enough to have perfect weather! We’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming campsite in Cornwall.

A brilliant campsite! Honestly, nothing was too much trouble for the team here, they really do everything to make your stay easy and enjoyable. The toilets were always clean, the showers were hot every time, and that alone makes such a difference when camping.
The food van was a total winner too. Super tasty food and great portions, so we didn’t even have to think about cooking. It made the whole trip feel so relaxed.
If you’re looking for a campsite where everything’s taken care of and you can just enjoy yourself, this is the place. Can’t recommend it enough!
We will absolutely be back next year.

What a fantastic site, from the initial engagement to being met on arrival Cath & Will made us feel as long lost friends.
Lovely location with a commitment to low impact camping and sustainable farming that included a visit by a mother cow and calves.
Well maintained compost toilets and lovely showers
Cadgwith is only a short walk along the coast path where you should visit the Cadgwith Inn. Great beer, great food and regular “jam” sessions with local musicians and singers.
As we were only there for one night we missed what smelt like great food coming from the catering truck on the campsite and will definitely be partaking of this on our next trip

Cathy and Will are true custodians of this beautiful landscape and run their campsite accordingly; it’s not overcrowded, there are strips left wild and untouched to support the ecosystem and their compost loos are put to good use. The views are glorious! The coastal path walks are stunning. Cadgwith Cove is something I won’t describe here because where’s the fun in that? I would definitely return but don’t tell anyone.
