Barachois Pond Provincial Park

Situated on 3,000 hectares of beautiful landscape, Barachois Pond Provincial Park features hiking trails, beaches, and great fishing. Gros Morne National Park

A UNESCO National Heritage Site, the park is made up of tableland hikes, the Western Brook Pond Fjord, and Cow Head’s shallow bay. Hikers won’t want to miss Gros Morne Mountain Trail, an 8-kilometre loop known for astonishing views of the coast. In wintertime, the Deer Lake region attracts campers who like winter activities like skiing and ice fishing. Average low temperatures dip down to -12°C.
