We are OPEN despite the current issues. No fires are allowed due to provincial bans. Enjoy the quiet skyline and maybe even catch a glimpse of the local wildlife. Our grass lots are backed with lush Appalachian forest and leads way to a slow brook where you can wade with the tide or try your hand at fishing or simply sit by the fire and enjoy the solitude. Check in is self guided as there is no host on site but you'll find it simple as all sites, as well as the toilet area is well marked with signage. This doesn’t mean we aren’t here to help, you can reach us 24/7 via text. We are Located just off the Acadian Coastal Drive and minutes from the beautiful Fundy shore. You can bring your tent, RV, van or camper and choose from 4 fantastic sites. 1-30 amp service, 2 roadside non-serviced as well as one privative forested site and 3 tent sites. All sites are equipped with a fire pit and access to our outhouse restroom. Wood is available for purchase if you didn’t bring your own! We are currently fencing in the entire property to make it a dog/cat and livestock safe area so pets can enjoy a safer experience . This will be done in stages so hang tight with us until this is completed. You can also explore New Brunswick with a drive on Acadian Coastal Drive ·Appalachian Range Route · Fundy Coastal Drive · Miramichi River Route or Fundy Coastal Drive Stop by and visit Murray Corner Provincial park for a swim and watch the tide roll out. Looking to see multiple provinces?? We are in the perfect spot to see all of what the East coast has to offer. View PEI’s spectacular Confederation Bridge from the shoreline and take a drive to PEI which is only minutes from us. Mainland Nova Scotia is less than a 30 minute drive and if your adventurous and want to drive the Cabot Trail then you can reach Cape Breton Island in under 2 hours! Catch a Ferry to Newfoundland if your heart desires. PEAK SEASON (May 1- Sept 31) OFF GRID (Oct 1 -Dec 31 and March 15 - April 31) CLOSED for winter (Dec 31- March 14) There is no potable water on site however, we do have an out building with compostable toilet, shower/change area. The cabin is a 5-minute walk from the Trans Canada RailTrail which grants easy access for longer bike rides, runs, hikes, and four-wheeler adventures. You’ll walk through a horse pasture and a cow pasture on your way to the cabin. There is a large farm pond (10ft deep) on the property for swimming. Enjoy access to locally-sourced food, firewood (at a small fee), drinking water, a private firepit, small wood stove and our old-fashioned wood-fired cook stove. There is no electricity or running water (but we provide ample drinking water) and there can be access to a charger box so you may charge your devices or have a light at night. Bring your pets and enjoy a private retreat. The max capacity of the cabin is three people. An outhouse with double-duty bag and second luggable loo are available for all guests. Minimum stay: 2 nights. NEW ADDITION: A new room, a small annex, has been constructed to allow for downstairs sleeping and writing area. We surprised my parents with a stay at Bootsie Back 40 Cabin for their 40th anniversary, and it was absolutely perfect! The hosts went above and beyond with every detail. The cabin itself is so cozy and welcoming, surrounded by stunning fall colors that made the whole experience magical. My parents loved the peace and quiet — they spent their mornings sipping tea while listening to the birds sing. The hosts were wonderfully friendly and even took photos of my parents for me, which was such a thoughtful touch. They also got to visit the farm animals (including two emus!), which they absolutely adored. Thank you for helping me give my parents such a memorable and heartfelt experience. This will be a trip they’ll cherish forever!

Great little spot. The wood stove made it very cozy and we had enough power for the water, lights and coffee in the morning. It was great having a camping experience while not having to take down tents in the morning. Recommend it if you're in the area.

Just wow!!! The hosts are beyond awesome. They have worked very hard to create a unique and awesome space to camp/ relax and they have certainly achieved it. The setting is pure magic and they couldnt be more welcoming, everything you need is there for easy and fun camping. With incredible swimming, mountain biking, hiking, and Bay of Fundy near by its a wonder this place isn't reserved months out in advance. Do your self a favor and go visit this beautiful campsite in a pristine valley. We stumbled across it on our way home from a trip up north, now we have a new favorite spot, we will for sure be back. It truly is about as good as it gets for camping!!

Wow, literally speechless! If you are looking a whimsical fairytale location with the nicest hosts ever, look no further. John and MJ were incredibly kind and so passionate about their charming wildflower farm as well as the history and preservation of their beautiful land. The site isn’t too far from the main road, but it felt so private and secluded. I was encouraged to explore the property using the many trails they have and I even went for a little swim in the stream hidden by trees behind the site. The actual site was magnificent, and it was evident how much time and care goes into making sure the area is not only clean, but inviting with little wildflower arrangements and fairy lights. In the evening I was able to listen to the many birds, take in a breathtaking sunset, and look at all the fireflies. Not to mention how clear the stars were at night!! Thank you John and MJ for a wonderful stay!!

After a long day of driving, me and my cat were so happy to find a beautifully maintained site to relax with our bare feet in the grass. I always appreciate a nice outhouse, too. We will definitely be returning here on our way back from PEI.

2 nights at Bootsie's
Bootsie's was our home for 2 nights During our road trip from Ontario to the Maritimes. It was well equipped and we were able to drive our car right to the cabin. We enjoyed the luxury of some electricity (while it lasted) to make some great coffee that was provided. We really enjoyed hanging out with the Emus and Chickens and taking in the sweeping views at sunset. Loved our stay here!
