We affectionately call this place “The Tardis” because its transformation from an RV, gutted into a modern cozy hi tech space with a cozy county feel, an outdoor kitchen / living / dining / hot tub areas in a forest setting. It’s got super high speed Internet, 2 TVs, a faux fireplace. Inside a live edge old growth cedar counter with Italian tile, modern connected features, fireplace, heat pump, flooring and great feel. Private inside a 5 acre estate with grounds and a private forest. Everyone loves this space. Tech wise there is super fast ethernet straight to the unit at around 600 download for zoom calls. There is also a super fast wifi for exclusive mobility, 2 flat screen TVs, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus. The space is really idea for 2 people however there are 2 bunk beds in a smaller space that could accomidate smaller children or other smaller stature adults that don't mind a small bunk bed sleeping area. A lot of remote worker like this place. It's faster and quieter than home surrounded by nature. We've focused on the outdoor area covered and private decks outside giving it the feel of an outdoor living, complete with a new BBQ, outdoor living room / seating area / kitchen. There is a private soft tub for comfy soaks.

Hi, my name is Dave. My family and I would like to welcome you to Nile Point, a secluded campsite located on 20 acres of privately owned, oceanfront property on Nelson Island, BC. I consider it the closest thing to paradise. The first you'll need to know about this property is that it's only accessible by boat. This is what makes the campsite so secluded and peaceful. Transportation to and from the island is included with your stay. The stunning 15 minute boat ride to and from Nile Point is one of the many things that makes this a truly unique experience. The second thing you'll need to know is that we offer TWO SITES on the property, a 10x16 TENT PLATFORM and a OCEANFRONT CANVAS TENT WITH ENSUITE (NEW!) with king size bed, in-tent ensuite bathroom and fully stocked outdoor kitchen with potable water, bar fridge and BBQ We have one canoe, one one-person kayak, a two-person kayak, and some paddleboards. Bring your own water exploring devices if you wish. Our beach is rocky (it ain't a sandy beach!), so bring your good water/rock shoes! This is a great place to stay and explore if you love the wild. It's off the grid, so if you want to unplug from devices and do nothing but relax or play in the ocean and explore the forest, it's perfect. That said, there is cell reception should you need it and a solar charger if you need to charge your devices. Egmont offers a pub, a fancy restaurant, and a charming convenience store with wi-fi. We can take you in to town during your stay for an additional charge of 50$ per direction. We've secured exclusive moorage at a private dock in Egmont. This is where you will park. Great time, great property and a great host. I’d highly recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful secluded place to stay. Very convenient location that is close to lots of mountain biking and good restaurants, breweries and wineries. Steven, the host is a very nice guy and super helpful and easy to work with.

3 nights at Nile Point - Oceanfront Camping

Our trip was amazing. The space was gorgeous, quiet, and welcoming - as advertised. Dave and Eli were helpful and went above and beyond with anything we needed, especially when our arrival time was in high tide! Use of the kayaks and paddle boards were a real plus and kept us entertained. We will definitely stay again, and we highly recommend this place if you are looking for the peace and beauty of camping, but in pure luxury!

2 nights at Nile Point - Oceanfront Camping

This was our third time at Nile Point, and once again it was absolutely perfect. Eli and Dave are wonderful hosts—always welcoming and willing to help with anything you need. This was our first time staying in the safari tent, and it was such an incredible experience. The tent itself is huge with plenty of space, and the balcony overlooking the water made for the perfect evening—BBQing, relaxing, and cozying up by the fire. Nile Point truly is one of my favourite spots, and I can’t wait to come back again. Thank you, Eli and Dave!

4 nights at Nile Point - Oceanfront Camping

Our family of 4 (boys aged 9 and 11) stayed 4 nights in the luxury canvas tent to kick off our summer vacation - terrific experience! The description is completely accurate; a secluded and beautiful spot which you feel you have to yourself (because you do!). Amazing view to wake up to. A protected little bay to paddleboard/swim/kayak in - water in July easily warm enough to swim. The tent itself is exactly like the pictures - clean, comfortable and spacious. Great outdoor kitchen / eating area. And to top it off, Dave and Eli are the most gracious of hosts - friendly and helpful, won't disturb your seclusion, but equally are quick to provide anything if you ask.

1 night at Secluded Forest Oasis, Maple Bay BC

Calm Chaos Forest Retreat is a very unique property located down a calm and peaceful road in beautiful Maple Bay. With a few acres to explore, the property offers enough space to go for a walk in the forest, visit the neighbouring cows and resident wildlife, have a fire by the pond, or simply relax in the passionately renovated trailer. The trailer itself has all one could need, with a comfortable bed, kitchen, running water, TVs, AC, etc. Within the trailer’s fenced courtyard, there’s a hot tub, lots of covered and uncovered patio space, a bbq, and more. The yard itself is an open air museum of sorts, with lots of statues and memorabilia to take in, made clear by the two large parrots that greet you when you arrive at the property. And speaking of parrots, there’s four real-life, living macaws co-hosting alongside the charming human hosts, Steven and Mimi. The macaws are not only beautiful, but full of personality. Nearby Maple Bay offers a nice beach to swim and relax at, as well as a pub, hiking trails, and disc golf. Overall, Calm Chaos is a really eclectic place worth a visit.
