Our home includes two goats, eight sheep, about 50 laying hens, 7 ducks, and a red footed African Tortoise. Campers are invited to feed the animals and collect organic eggs, with us, for breakfast.
Bring your own tents, trailers, or RVs. If you're bringing an RV/trailer, the site requires levelling and can accommodate vehicles up to 49ft in length.
We have moose and deer visiting the meadow regularly and many birds call our land home.
This property is a nature lovers paradise and only 30 mins South East of Edmonton and Sherwood Park. Hastings Lake borders our land and water access for water sports is close. Elk Island Park is 26 km away.

A wonderful family-friendly (including pets!) getaway close to Tofield and about a 35-minute drive to Ardrossan. Fires are permitted and we provide you with a fire pit, some firewood and a picnic table so you have a place to enjoy your meals together. We can also provide you with a jug of water if needed, just let us know! Spend your days relaxing in the provided hammock, or explore nearby Elk Island Park, Blackfoot-Waskahegan Park, or Strathcona Wilderness Center. There’s plenty of hiking, fishing, kayaking and biking to enjoy. We also have beautiful golf courses and delicious nearby restaurants, coffee shops and the incredible Ukrainian Village to visit during your stay. We have two sites for you to choose from, one in the field that is quite private, or choose the site closer to the path if you’re looking for a bit more privacy! Both sites can be accessed by a traditional car, no off-roading or 4-wheel drive vehicle is needed. We can also provide access to electricity so you can charge your phones or other devices if needed. Nestled in a forest full of birds, deer, and moose, this campsite offers walking trails, fire pit, RV dump, access to the lake, and a dock. Three kayaks (2 full size + 1 kids) are available for your use. You’ll need to bring your own life jackets.
Saskatoon berries, raspberries, and chokecherries grow prolifically along the bank of the lake, and hazelnuts bushes are common throughout the 30 acre property.
If you bring a chain saw, there is endless firewood available in a stacked pile of trees along the driveway.
PLEASE NOTE: It’s a steep hill / walk down to the lake. If you're not up for the walk, all three of the chain lakes have boat launches within a short drive from the camp site.
