For the extreme camper break out your hiking boots and really get one with nature as you hike to your site at the top of the hill. All sites are non powered (welcome to bring your own generator), campfire friendly (pending local fire restrictions) and firewood is available. Rubbish facilities are available if required. Filtered rainwater is available. Sites are pet friendly. Guests will need to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities but there is a dump point available on site. Enjoy relaxing by the creek, have a swim or try your hand at catching some fish. Local birdlife is abundant and you might even see the occasional wild peacock. Kangaroos and wallabies will likely come and say hello to you too. Pack a picnic and your camera and hike up to the top of the hill to experience the best views. Mount Archer National Park, Mount Morgan Railway Museum and the Capricorn Caves are just a few of the local attractions close by.

Mount Morgan is situated on the Dee River, 38 km south of Rockhampton, and is an old gold mining town with lots of history and two museums, a railway and a town history museum. There are plenty of lookouts to see out over the town and the mine site. The Number 7 Dam, has walking and mountain bike tracks for beginners and the more advanced. We have 6 listings available at Meyenburg B&B Glamping, 2 tent sites for campers and 6 Tents which have linen included and creature comforts. All our listings have access to toilet and amenities. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash and cleaned up after. Mount Morgan was a mining town. Mining of clay in a nearby hill for the production of furnace bricks continuing until the early 1900s, the resulting man-made caves came to be known as the Fireclay Caverns, which contained large openings that measure between 4–12 metres in height from the cave floor. Dinosaur footprints (preserved as infills) were later found in nine different sections of the Caverns, lining the ceiling dated to the Early Jurassic. There is also a community swimming pool, skate park and general playground near the Dee River on Butler St. The town has three pubs, an IGA, and a small general store directly across the street from the camp site. The Grand Hotel is the oldest pub, and is still trading in town.

Our Cattle farm is located 55km north of Rockhampton, conveniently just off the main Bruce highway. Note Rates are per vehicle Max 2 adults and accompanied Children free. Our campsites are great for a weekend adventure with the family or an overnight stopover for travellers. There are options for bushland settings with good privacy or you may prefer to set up in front of a waterhole. Campsites are 2WD friendly and there's enough space for all types of camping vehicles. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. There is access to rubbish facilities. As you can tell from the name, this is big sky country. We have views for days and days, great sunrises and amazing sunsets. The land features Ironbark and Gum trees throughout with rolling pastures. Waterholes form in wetter months. Paid Tours include Pondages with Bird life / Horses / Donkeys Goats / Cattle. We run beef cattle, and have horses and donkeys too. Our farm animals are very friendly for those on tour and there are photo opportunities aplenty. Campfires are permitted by arrangement of the farm manager, and if weather permits. "Arcadia"

Our property "Arcadia" is located at Moongan, which was once a bustling Railway Station at the top of the Rack Railway. "Arcadia" is just over 2 acres with a nice flat camping spot beside the seasonal creek. You will be camping right where early settlers once camped and watered their draught horses in bygone days. Teamsters would gather here and collaborate to join their teams together to traverse the steep Razorback bringing supplies to the gold mine and its workers. Behind the homestead the land rises steeply to overlook the valley below and offers nice views for sunset gazers. We are at the very start of a permaculture makeover, with the design phase still in progress. Our business is named Moonrise Organixs and we have a produce stall at the front gate with an ever increasing range of chemical-free products. We have an infant orchard, mandala veggie patch, tea garden, poultry and a small grass arena. We are a kid, dog and horse friendly property! There is an unofficial rail trail nearby and lots of tracks for horse riding, hiking, rock climbing and motor bike riding. The quaint Gold Mining town of Mount Morgan is steeped in history, with a full suite of facilities and is only 5km away. Rockhampton is 25km and Gracemere 15km away. If you are interested in the history of Moongan, just strike up a conversation with Angie and she will be glad to share what she knows. Please note: Mount Morgan is situated at the top of the great Dividing Range. There are two ways to approach Mt Morgan from the east - up the windy range road A3 Burnett Highway or up the straight and steep (17% incline) Razorback Rd. Our property is located at Moongan just at the top of the steep Razorback incline. USE LOW GEAR from the bottom as it gets steeper towards the top. Directions from Bouldecombe: 4km west of Bouldecombe, turn right onto Poison Creek Rd. Follow until the end (4km) then turn left onto Razorback Rd. In another 4 km you will reach the steep incline and our property is at the top. Despite the address being Leydens Hill Rd, the driveway is actually accessed off Razorback Rd. Don't turn down Leydens Hill Rd, especially if you are towing as this is a narrow road and turning around can be difficult. There is a pit dunny outhouse but no shower. We offer a 10amp outlet only. Please come prepared with whatever equipment is needed to convert to 15amp if required. Water is our most precious and limited resource so please arrive with full tanks and adequate drinking water for the duration of your stay. We are in a dry period right now so it is hot and brown. This is a leave no trace site. Please take all your rubbish with you when you leave. If no one is home to greet you please just choose a site in the front driveway paddock which suits you. 😉 We won't be far away. Come in peace, stay in harmony, leave with a full heart.

Seeonee has been home to state-level mountain bike tracks, 4WD competitions, horse riding weekends, as well as the obvious Scout camps. Great for group camping as we offer up to 20 campsites.
