The Banya Place in Bright - about 2-acre private property nestled within a natural forest reserve with only you and nature around.

The Witches Garden on the Mitta Mitta River

Our Mitta River and Callaghan Creek unpowered campsites are along waterways where there is access to the water. Not far from these camp sites is our garden which we open to the public for weddings and events. The gardens are very extensive and beautiful and there are chooks and a large vegie garden and in season (usually summer and autumn) we have excess veg available to campers. We also have chooks and farm animals so dogs must be kept under control.
Our area has very little mobile phone coverage but if you are with Telstra you will be fine as there is a Telstra tower not far away.
On Callaghan Creek Road we have a peaceful camping spot by the creek. This is in a secluded and very pretty spot on our farm. 4 wheel drive needed as you will be driving across paddocks and down a short steep hill to the creek. Off-road caravan friendly.
Children welcome but must be supervised at all times (farms can be dangerous)
Well behaved dogs on lead are allowed. No amenities campers must have own camping toilet and be self-contained.

Wandi Farm

Wandi Farm is a small scale produce farm under development. It is set on 3 acres on the eastern (sunny) side of the beautiful Wandiligong Valley, just 5 minute drive from Bright.
The property is on the side of a hill, which provides spectacular valley views to the north.
Our family live in the recently completed straw bale house on the property, which sits well below the camping sites.
The property has a fully functional camp kitchen with a large deck as well as a bathroom with toilet and shower.
Due to the slope the tent sites are not suitable for camp trailers (the tent sites are flat but there is nowhere flat to park a car next to it) and the tent sites are not suitable for vehicles. Therefore we can only accommodate people with tents/swags.

It has been a few years since we stopped hosting campers at Samsons Gully, but we're back and looking forward to meeting new and old friends.
Samsons Gully is a working cattle farm nestled in a stunning private valley. If you are after peace and tranquillity this is where you will find it.
We have a national park on one side of us, and the Cudgewa Creek flowing along our front boundary. The property is perfect for mountain biking, bushwalking, fishing or just plain relaxing.
The favourite camp site is on the banks of the Cudgewa Creek. However, there are plenty of places to camp in the bush for those wanting more seclusion.
Samsons Gully is a perfect base to explore the Upper Murray. 20 minutes away is Corryong where there is an IGA, service stations, dump point, Dr and hospital, pubs and cafes. 10 minutes away is the Cudgewa pub who do dinner Wednesday through to Sunday evenings.
Our property suits fully self contained campers only as there is not toilet or shower. Dogs and horses are welcome but must be well behaved and kept close to your camp site as this is a working cattle property.
Due to council regulations we can only open one site up at a time. This ensures that your time here will be exclusive, peaceful and private.

Sleep in our lovely vintage caravan on the hill top overlooking beautiful 15 Mile Creek valley and Middle Creek. Enjoy mountain views and amazing sunsets. Have a camp fire in the fire pit and the watch the abundant wildlife.We are situated on 50 acres of bush land.
Sleeping arrangements: 1 double bed and bunks. Upper bunk is ideal for kiddo weighing 20kg or less (bed rail can be supplied). Fitted sheets are supplied but please bring own pillows and doona etc. If sleeping arrangements inside caravan are unsuitable for group of 4 adults, feel free to bring your tent or swag. Bring an esky and ice for you food and drinks. Here you will have access to rubbish/recycling facilities, cookware, cooking utensils, cutlery).
Enjoy the nearby King Valley wineries, rivers and creeks or simply kick back at camp and watch the Roos and cows in the paddock below. The caravan is ideal for a couple or small family. The track up to the campsite is 2wd accessible in dry weather for capable drivers. The caravan is set up with lights and a USB charger. There is a BBQ set up for you to use and basic pantry items (oil, salt, pepper etc) there is a lovely fire pit with logs bench seats but probably worth packing your camping chair. We very much look forward to hosting you and are happy to help you out with ideas on places to swim, eat, fish, bush walk, bike ride etc.
