Camp fires permitted until fire restrictions start, firewood is available on request. Ideal for bush walking, bird watching, kayaks, mountain bikes, mountain climbing. Pets permitted under owners control. There are sheep, quiet horses including a friendly Shetland pony, chickens and ducks. All animals enjoy having their photos taken with guests. Bring tents, caravans, trailers, RV's. The road into property is good, it has been repaired after the recent rain. Generators allowed. No power. Campers to dispose of their own waste and rubbish. The property is situated 25km to Denman, 50km to Singleton, 50 Km to Muswellbrook. 11 km to Jerry's Plains Tavern where meals are available, also a service station with fuel and food . 18km to Hollydene Vineyard, Winery and Restaurant. Hillside is a remote 2000 acre working cattle property situated 23km west of MERRIWA, 14 km off the Golden Highway, adjoining the Goulburn River National Park. Explore the Native Bushland, Flight Springs Creek, Gullies, Caves and Bow River. All sites are in secluded area's far away from each other but at busy times people may pass by some sites too access the River. There are plenty of walking trails. All sites are pet friendly, but pets must be kept on leash and cleaned up after. Campfires are allowed when there are no restrictions and campers can collect their own small firewood for campfires. There is an abundance of wildlife; Kangaroos, Wallabies, Wombats, Foxes, Emu's, water Dragons, Turtles, Fish, Goanna's, Lizards, Snakes, Echidna's, Eagles and plenty of Birds to see. For the enthusiastic bushwalker, the Bow River winds its way 7km down to the Goulburn River through the National Park, with its gentle flowing stream and rock pools nestled between sandstone cliffs with caves and open areas. 4WD and High vehicles are recommended as tracks have rocky outcrops and some areas of loose sand. The Bow River area is strictly 4WD access as it is steep with loose gravel. There are plenty of trails for Horse Riding (you will need to provide your own temporary fencing). Guests are required to be fully self-contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. At certain times some sites may be unavailable due to Cattle grazing in the same paddock. Cows are very curious and can be destructive to your vehicle and belongings. A lot of the land is undulating, and while there are a few flat spots for caravans, some camping areas will require chocks - but it is up to you where you wish to camp within the designated area. This property has its own access to the Goulburn River for swimming or throwing in a line. Just 8kms to the charming township of Denman where you can access pubs, RSL, IGA and gift shops. Also just 27km from Muswellbrook. Dogs are welcome but be kept under control at all times to ensure our cattle's safety. Beelisco Honey Hipcamp

Update: 11th Jan 2024.. Creek is seasonal and is currently dry due to drought conditions. Sorry for this, but not much we can do I'm afraid except pray for more rain soon. We do still have water for you to connect to at the campsite and it is still a beautiful spot to camp. Great for group bookings Large roomy grassy campsite, so great to get away camping with friends or family, you choose your campsite. Camp by the creek or in the front camping paddock. Beelisco Honey Hipcamp camping spot is set on 300acres located in the beautiful valley of Baerami Creek and surrounded by the amazing mountain views of Wollemi National Park. We are located just off the Bylong Valley Way, so a great spot to spend a night or two if travelling through. There are some amazing mountain views and a very tranquil peaceful camping spot. Tar sealed road all the way to the front gate and then only 150metres in on farm to your campsite on a very well-maintained road suitable for ALL vehicles. We have wide gate access to suit all vehicles/trailers of any size to go in and out. Great spot to relax, chill and take in the amazing country air and surroundings, relax by a fire, cook marshmallows or a camp oven feast. Walk down to the edge of this campsite and listen to the creek trickle past, go bushwalking, listen to the birds and watch the Kangaroos. Of a night you will be amazed at how many stars you can see, it is just beautiful, so don't forget to look up. There is an undercover area with picnic table, chairs and a sink for your use and if you have a smaller size tent or swags, please feel free to set it up under the undercover area as well. We also now have solar lights set up under the roof of the undercover area for you to use of a night. You just have to turn them on and they light up some of the undercover area. We have a seasonal shallow creek that runs through the farm, which is so beautiful to just sit and relax on a summers day, it has a sandy bottom. This is located on the edge of the Beelisco Honey Hipcamp camping paddock, you can camp right beside the creek if you wish. The creek is just a shallow creek flowing past, great for kids and Adults to just sit in and relax. Sometimes it will have more water in it than other times, it will depend on the rainfall in the mountains. But it is always shallow, so great for all kids and it has a sandy bottom. There is no wi-fi or phone service at this campsite, makes for a refreshing change get the kids and adults off their phones and back to just camping and talking to each other. So bring the board games, Cricket Bat, kids push bikes!! We have a Pit style toilet set up for those without on-board loo's. (please bring your own toilet paper) Pets are very welcome but must remain ON A LEAD at all times, for the respect for other campers and as we have Kangaroos Wombats Cattle and Horses on Farm. We are just under 3 hours from Sydney, 1.5 hours from Newcastle and 20min from the small country town of Denman or 15min to Sandy Hollow. Please put in ‘Beelisco Honey’ into google maps to see how far we are from you. Sandy Hollow has a pub with very yummy meals. Only 15minsin to Sandy Hollow from camp. Find their menu on their FB page. Sandy Hollow Tourist Hotel. Denman (approx 20 min drive from camp) Denman still has that ol country charm feel about it and is well worth the visit. Denman has fine wine and liqueurs, (make sure you check out.. Hunter Valley Liqueurs and Baerami Olives) Denman has plenty of places to eat with amazing food. A lovely country feel main street with lots of little shops to browse through. Also a local butcher shop to get all of your meat for your stay (The Chop Shop Butchery Denman) If you go into Denman don't forget to check out the Denman Craft Shop located on the corner in with the information centre, across from both pubs. They have all of the local arts, crafts and our Delicious Beelisco Honey. Well worth the visit. Our farm is a family run business with Husband, wife and 2 young boys, we run horses and cattle all year round and grow Lucerne hay on a few large flats around the farm. We also produce farm fresh pure raw bush Honey (Beelisco Honey) We hope you enjoy your tranquil camping experience and feel relaxed and refreshed. Valley View Farm is located in the beautiful upper Hunter Valley - home of racehorses and wineries. We are spread out over 40 acres, set in a picturesque 600-acre valley, with Mount Dangar dominating the skyline. Our property is set on top of a huge inland sandbank/cliff, with deep gorges on two sides, which gives amazing valley views. Due to these cliffs, our property is not suitable for groups with small children, and older children must be supervised at all times. The valley is service by a dirt Crown road, snaking through private land, this acts as an excellent walking track with minimal traffic, there is also exploring through the native bush up in the mountains. Plenty of wildlife abounds, including kangaroos, wombats, lizards, birdlife, and not too many snakes! The property is accessed via a 6km dirt road, off the Golden Highway, with some corrugations. We do recommend SUV or 4WD however others have accessed it via 2WD successfully. I drive my horse float up there all the time, and provided your caravan or car isn't too low clearance, it should be fine. Any concerns, please discuss with us prior to booking. When we've had heavy rain, this will hinder access for 2WD vehicles until the water drains, which it does quickly. For this reason, please keep an eye on the weather on your arrival day. We currently offer 4 camping sites - 2 in our back paddock which are 4WD accessible only, and 2 in our front paddocks, both with easy access to the flushing toilet and one with exclusive use of a large 9x9m shelter. The Old Dairy @ Baerami

Our property is approximately 150 acres, located in the Upper Hunter Valley between the Goulburn River National Park and the Wollemi National Park. In the shadow of Mt Dangar, our land sweeps down to the pristine Goulburn River, one of the main tributaries of the Hunter River. The property was once part of a huge agricultural station, that was established not long after explorers started to open up the interior to development in colonial times. We raise cattle and have an olive grove, which we planted in 2001 (our olive brand is Windybank Olives). In 2003 we established The Old Dairy accommodation, by renovating the crumbling 1940's dairy shed at the top of the property. There are stunning views of the surrounding countryside in all directions from The Old Dairy. It is a place to unwind, relax, reset. Guests have loved the peace & quiet we offer, the chance to get away from everything for a short while. Our road is just off Bylong Valley Way - a visually stunning route through the national parks towards Mudgee, Rylstone, Capertee Valley, Lithgow and the Greater Blue Mountains, tracking along the headwaters of the Goulburn River. One of the most beautiful drives in New South Wales and within close proximity of terrific campsites like Ganguddy (Dunn's Swamp via Rylstone) and Big River (Gouburn River National Park). Plenty of birds & wildlife (kangaroos make a very regular appearance - as do healthy green tree frogs!). A beautiful part of the world.

Liberty Plains

Liberty Plains offers bush camping for self contained campers. There is one toilet available, a portable toilet (if the toilet runs out of soap/paper etc you will need to supply your own. The property offers a large dam ( which unfortunately is quite low at the moment) for kayaking, fishing, yabbying. There is also bush walking. There is a small common area/ shed available with a bbq for guests to use and a table. There is also a shower and toilet available near the main house shed for a donation in the donation box to cover water and gas. If exploring please do not go through any fences as you may end up on a neighbors property. Guests may camp as close or far away from the main dam as they like, camp sites are first in first served. Pets allowed if kept under control, firewood is permitted to be used from the ground only no felling of standing trees, you may have a fire on the ground. Please find your own way to camp by following your map that will be sent to you on booking and the signs that are posted from the driveway on after you turn in the main entrance, no need to meet and greet with host although I may come around occasionally to see if everything is going alright.

We do still have water for you to connect to at the campsite and it is still a beautiful spot to camp. Great for group bookings Large roomy grassy campsite, so great to get away camping with friends or family, you choose your campsite. Camp by the creek or in the front camping paddock. Beelisco Honey Hipcamp camping spot is set on 300acres located in the beautiful valley of Baerami Creek and surrounded by the amazing mountain views of Wollemi National Park. We are located just off the Bylong Valley Way, so a great spot to spend a night or two if travelling through. There are some amazing mountain views and a very tranquil peaceful camping spot. Tar sealed road all the way to the front gate and then only 150metres in on farm to your campsite on a very well-maintained road suitable for ALL vehicles. We have wide gate access to suit all vehicles/trailers of any size to go in and out. Great spot to relax, chill and take in the amazing country air and surroundings, relax by a fire, cook marshmallows or a camp oven feast. Walk down to the edge of this campsite and listen to the creek trickle past, go bushwalking, listen to the birds and watch the Kangaroos. Of a night you will be amazed at how many stars you can see, it is just beautiful, so don't forget to look up. There is an undercover area with picnic table, chairs and a sink for your use and if you have a smaller size tent or swags, please feel free to set it up under the undercover area as well. We also now have solar lights set up under the roof of the undercover area for you to use of a night. You just have to turn them on and they light up some of the undercover area. We have a seasonal shallow creek that runs through the farm, which is so beautiful to just sit and relax on a summers day, it has a sandy bottom. This is located on the edge of the Beelisco Honey Hipcamp camping paddock, you can camp right beside the creek if you wish. The creek is just a shallow creek flowing past, great for kids and Adults to just sit in and relax. Sometimes it will have more water in it than other times, it will depend on the rainfall in the mountains. But it is always shallow, so great for all kids and it has a sandy bottom. There is no wi-fi or phone service at this campsite, makes for a refreshing change get the kids and adults off their phones and back to just camping and talking to each other. So bring the board games, Cricket Bat, kids push bikes!! We have a Pit style toilet set up for those without on-board loo's. (please bring your own toilet paper) Pets are very welcome but must remain ON A LEAD at all times, for the respect for other campers and as we have Kangaroos Wombats Cattle and Horses on Farm. We are just under 3 hours from Sydney, 1.5 hours from Newcastle and 20min from the small country town of Denman or 15min to Sandy Hollow. Please put in ‘Beelisco Honey’ into google maps to see how far we are from you. Sandy Hollow has a pub with very yummy meals. Only 15minsin to Sandy Hollow from camp. A lovely country feel main street with lots of little shops to browse through. Also a local butcher shop to get all of your meat for your stay (The Chop Shop Butchery Denman) If you go into Denman don't forget to check out the Denman Craft Shop located on the corner in with the information centre, across from both pubs. They have all of the local arts, crafts and our Delicious Beelisco Honey. Well worth the visit. Valley View Farm, Hunter Valley

Valley View Farm is located in the beautiful upper Hunter Valley - home of racehorses and wineries. We are spread out over 40 acres, set in a picturesque 600-acre valley, with Mount Dangar dominating the skyline. Our property is set on top of a huge inland sandbank/cliff, with deep gorges on two sides, which gives amazing valley views. Due to these cliffs, our property is not suitable for groups with small children, and older children must be supervised at all times. The valley is service by a dirt Crown road, snaking through private land, this acts as an excellent walking track with minimal traffic, there is also exploring through the native bush up in the mountains. Plenty of wildlife abounds, including kangaroos, wombats, lizards, birdlife, and not too many snakes! The property is accessed via a 6km dirt road, off the Golden Highway, with some corrugations. We do recommend SUV or 4WD however others have accessed it via 2WD successfully. I drive my horse float up there all the time, and provided your caravan or car isn't too low clearance, it should be fine. Any concerns, please discuss with us prior to booking. When we've had heavy rain, this will hinder access for 2WD vehicles until the water drains, which it does quickly. For this reason, please keep an eye on the weather on your arrival day. We currently offer 4 camping sites - 2 in our back paddock which are 4WD accessible only, and 2 in our front paddocks, both with easy access to the flushing toilet and one with exclusive use of a large 9x9m shelter. Hillside is a remote 2000 acre working cattle property situated 23km west of MERRIWA, 14 km off the Golden Highway, adjoining the Goulburn River National Park. Explore the Native Bushland, Flight Springs Creek, Gullies, Caves and Bow River. All sites are in secluded area's far away from each other but at busy times people may pass by some sites too access the River. There are plenty of walking trails. All sites are pet friendly, but pets must be kept on leash and cleaned up after. Campfires are allowed when there are no restrictions and campers can collect their own small firewood for campfires. There is an abundance of wildlife; Kangaroos, Wallabies, Wombats, Foxes, Emu's, water Dragons, Turtles, Fish, Goanna's, Lizards, Snakes, Echidna's, Eagles and plenty of Birds to see. For the enthusiastic bushwalker, the Bow River winds its way 7km down to the Goulburn River through the National Park, with its gentle flowing stream and rock pools nestled between sandstone cliffs with caves and open areas. 4WD and High vehicles are recommended as tracks have rocky outcrops and some areas of loose sand. The Bow River area is strictly 4WD access as it is steep with loose gravel. There are plenty of trails for Horse Riding (you will need to provide your own temporary fencing). Guests are required to be fully self-contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. At certain times some sites may be unavailable due to Cattle grazing in the same paddock. Cows are very curious and can be destructive to your vehicle and belongings. Note: In wet weather some sites will be unavailable and in extremely wet weather the property is inaccessible. Please check before booking.
