I have camped on Alan’s land before and it draws us back. The hiking trails almost border his land, and he even has a well kept path on his own property to explore. Mostly sheltered from the outside and you can hear the horses and donkey from a nearby farm. We love to come here and just unwind.
The host, Alan, was great, the fall leaves were beautiful, and the wood was plentiful. It was just feet from a series of public trails abutting the state forest.
Staying at Alan’s was great! Campsite was comfy and all the firewood chopped and ready was a real luxury. We had the good fortune of meeting Alan, who gave had information about fly fishing spots and shared about the history and future of his beautiful property, which is quite interesting! We highly recommend this spot for a quite hang and access to great biking (road & mountain) and fishing!
What a wonderful experience! It was a little confusing to find it at first, but once we located the kiosk, it was easy.
The port o let was relatively clean, except for some mice that made it a home. Lol
There was PLENTY of firewood provided that was covered from the rain, thank you Alan. It had POURED all the way up to when we arrived, but remained beautiful for the rest of the weekend. We were so happy! There are so many walking trails around as well. We saw a few people enjoying the trails, they were all super friendly. The house across the street was a wee bit close and they were running heavy machinery ALL WEEKEND. That was the only drawback, but all in all we still give this site a 10+
We never met our host, but he was great with responding. We can't wait to go back!

A great site and well maintained and set up. Quiet dead end location and private and secluded but easy to get out if you want. Trails are mere steps away to break up the day. Would highly recommend to others and will look forward to going again this winter. Alan was a gracious host and accommodated everything i needed.
The site is right next to some amazing hikes! The ground is flat and well maintained and there is plenty of firewood to keep you going. Alan and Joan were very helpful in guiding us where to explore. Thank you!
