We have two RV sites at the Woodland Park Aspen Grove site. All sites can have one vehicle. Both RV spots are fairly flat and are in front of the house/garage. The ground at site #1 has been leveled and is situated next to an aspen grove and is best for RV's shorter than 30 ft. For RVs longer than 30 ft, there is site #2 on the other side of driveway with amazing views of Pikes Peak. It has the gradual incline ~25 ft in from the road toward the house and will require leveling, especially for longer rigs. If you have a Skoolie, get in touch with us first before booking a site. Car parking will be in front of the garage and the trailer or in the grass area off the street (just don't block the left side access to the garage). Please no RVs or vehicles that are mechanically unsound (i.e. produce lots of exhaust, leak oil, smell, loud, or do not have clean diesel technology) or are visually unpleasing (i.e. rust, old or untasteful paint or signage). If you are looking for a site to stay, and what is available won't work, check with us and we may be able to accommodate you.
The cost for a site is for dry camping (note: no generators are allowed). However, we have two 15 amp hookups, one 30/50 amp hookup, and water for an additional charge, and those can be found in the extras (we have 15 and 30 amp extension cords and a surge protector also available to rent). If you want 50 amps make sure to bring a 100ft extension cord. We also have goods for sale including organic eggs and honey from the ducks and honey bees we raise (the funds for the honey support the CU Denver Bee Project). If you need any extras you can add them to the reservation or at the time you arrive. We have some nearby campgrounds where you can dump and take showers for a reasonable fee.
We have many deer, birds, squirrels, and bears in the area so food is best kept in your car or RV so you can enjoy the critters at a distance. We allow pets at the location as long as they are watched, are quite, and remain on a leach or caged while outside the RV. Please make sure they don't chase or capture the wildlife.
We are higher-ed educators in geology and ecology, and at special request and advanced planning, we can host fieldtrips related to the local environment for an additional fee (please get in touch asap with us for more information).
Our Woodland Park Aspen Grove site is located adjacent the Pikes National Forest boundary with spectacular views of Pikes Peak and the Rampart Range. It is walkable distance to the city of Woodland Park with a world class dinosaur museum, shopping, art, and dining. It is the gateway to amazing fly-fishing, hiking, biking, kayaking, snow sports, Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, Mueller State Park and the Wolf and Wildlife Center. We have an aquatic center walking distance from the property for swimming and showers. We are 30 minutes to CO Springs with Garden of the Gods, Cliff Dwellings, and Manitou Springs on the way. Also, 30 minutes to the south are mining and casino towns of Victor and Cripple Creek. We are truly at the heart of cool and amazing mountain experiences.

I was hesitant due to the fact that you are basically beside the driveway but it is a great spot. We were tucked in the Aspens with a view of Pike's Peak and a beautiful night sky. Christy and her husband are great people, very accommodating, and had great site-seeing suggestions. We stayed a week. We also saw Mule Deer walk within two feet of our camper windows.
Great place to stay!
We loved staying at Christy and Richard‘s place. There were so many things to do in their cute little town. Plus we were able to visit so many places around the area. Thanks again for all your help. Would highly recommend staying there.
Quiet neighborhood in the charming town of woodland park. Close to grocery, close to Colorado springs and pikes peak. Not much space to spread out but our class C RV and car fit fine at site 1. This is a great location at good price, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place around the Colorado springs area.
I had an awesome stay at Aspen Grove! Christy and Richard were terrific hosts and very helpful whenever I needed anything. I had amazing views of Pike’s Peak out of my window. The aspens that surrounded the site provided the perfect amount of shade. While this site is in a neighborhood, it was more quiet than most campgrounds. This truly was the perfect spot to stay for what I needed. It was conveniently located to grocery stores, had great WiFi and I strong cell service (Verizon). The bonus was getting to know the sweet town of Woodland Park. It exceeded my expectations! Thank you, Christy!
This site is on a quiet street in a safe neighborhood. The town center of Woodland Park is within walking distance. Good location to see many points of interest and escape the extreme summer temperatures. Christy was friendly and helpful.
