Come visit us at our Isolated farm land and get away from it all... Distant from the city lights, enjoy a night beneath the stars, feel the cool breeze and the sounds of nature as you relax.

Minutes from local breweries, a cider orchard and many great restaurants! Easy access to I-25, Denver, Boulder, Loveland, Estes Park and other Colorado Front Range Locations.

Beautiful view of the Rocky Mountains, and a great place to relax! Sometimes just sitting back, taking in the views and relaxing is all it takes to decompress from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

The terrain is basically a flat field layout, fairly soft and sandy. We do mow the weeds weekly to keep everything in order and maintain a safe and easy to get around campground.

Stretch your legs and unwind, we have plenty of room for pets to roam and play. We do recommend keeping them on a leash when possible to avoid conflict with other Hip campers that may have dogs.

Walk up to the corral and visit our goats and Alpaca, they love attention and will eat all the weeds you can pull and feed to them.  Dante is the Alpaca's name, Leonard and Sheldon are the energetic, crazy fun loving goats.

There are also ducks free-roaming and quacking around the farm if you happen to see them.

There are fire-pits around the sites, please feel free to grab one and use it.  We have firewood for sale for $5 per bundle if needed.

ALL SITES have great cell service (Tmobile, AT&T, Verizon & others) and free WIFI.  TV reception is pretty good if you point your antenna to Lookout Mountain for all the digital channels, WiFi is great and can be used anywhere on the property.

Fresh, clean & cold well water available at the front of the farmhouse and a clean, well lighted porta-potty available for campers east of the big red barn.

No sewer, RV dump or electric available onsite. Trash dumpster is located at the front of the property by the road.

Generators are welcome, just please be considerate of your neighbors.

We have a small supply of camping necessities, a 'virtual camp store' if you will.  If you forgot a toothbrush, need shampoo, a can opener, need some tin foil, or any of the basic necessities, we most likely have it free of charge. We will deliver it right out to you at your campsite.

Local destinations: Denver 32 miles, Boulder 26 miles, Estes park 44 miles, Fort Collins 39 miles, Central City 61 miles, Longmont 7 miles.

Quick communication, easy to find, perfect spot for our needs, which we’re a few hours to sleep before heading on into a music festival the next morning.

Nice, well mowed flat field. Met us on arrival and delivered picnic table to our spot by tractor

The host was very responsive and the view of the Rocky’s was beautiful with a perfect sunset. We were just car camping for a quick overnight and it was easy and private. The property was a field of stickers, so if you’re planning a longer stay just be aware. The portable potty was clean but full. For the price, it was good for our needs! Would consider again. Got to hear the coyote all around in the night and that’s always a little magical.

Camping on a farm was great. It was quiet and the view was beautiful. The other campers were very nice.
There are ducks, goats and a llama by the entrance, we didn't get to feed them but we did pet them a lot.
Tad was a great host, he came to our site when we got there to see if we needed anything. The sites have a picnic table and a fire pit and plenty of room for a fifth wheel or just a vehicle and a tent. It is windy so a dome tent would be best.
I really enjoyed our time here and would camp here again.

If you have pets - there are lots of prickle thorny things in the field. Not good- should have been a better warning! There was a loud generator running all night. Besides that pretty view, goats and alpaca - so cute!

Loved camping at hipcamp over the last week! Tad was very friendly and helped me set up my tent when I was having trouble. Perfect place to stay with cheapest gas prices 10min away and around an hour drive from Estes Park, Rockies & Denver. Very quiet and open unlike other camp sites. Service & wifi aren’t the best at the campsite but if you drive into town you’ll have better reception. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe & quiet place to stay during your travels!

The property is wide open with beautiful views. Tad and his family are very nice and the location feels remote but is actually close to many things. Will definitely stay there again!
