There is a petting zoo with a shetland pony, donkey, goats, ducks and chickens. Our 8 stall barn holds 8 horses. We offer horseback rides in our round pen upon request for an additional cost. Thirty acres of our property are fenced for the horses and located directly behind the campsites. You are welcome to explore our property as we have lots of wild life and domestic animals. If you have your own horses we have the ability to board them at an additional expense.
We are approximately 2 miles from the town of Larkspur between Spruce Mountain Road and Perry Park Road. (Please note google maps will try and send you to a location on Perry Park Road which is incorrect. Please refer to the map located on this website.)
Due to being remote we have spotty Wifi. Typically ATT and TMobile work best. Verizon reception can be located at certain spots around our ranch.
There are three restaurants located in the town of Larkspur to include pizza, Mexican food, and a pub. There is also a large park with lots of kids play equipment. During the summer there is typical concerts at the park on the weekends. We are approximately 10 miles from the town of Palmer Lake which has fishing, kayaking, and several restaurants. Spruce Mountain hiking trails are 2-3 miles away. We are approximately 40 miles north of Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, Seven Falls, and Manitou Springs. We are approximately 40 miles south of Denver and all of its attractions.
We are not a commercial campground.

This place was great! The pads are spacious and pretty level. Lots of trees and shade. Plus playing with all the animals in the petting zoo was a blast. There's nothing like a goat to put a smile on your face.
Beautiful piece of land, nice clean and large camping sites. The host Teresa was very nice and even offered us fresh eggs from her chicken. The animals are very friendly and love to say hi. We will definitely return and let others know about this spot. Thanks Teresa!
Exactly what we needed!
This was an awesome experience, got to camp right out of the bed of our truck, in a safe and welcoming place. The ranch is very beautiful and every single one of the animals are so kind and sweet. This makes a great date idea and the horseback riding is a must! Teresa was very patient with us and riding the horses was super fun! We will definitely be coming back and recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway close from home!
Better than expected!
Teresa was extremely responsive for a last minute booking. Beautiful property! My daughter loved visiting the animals and pony ride. There are great hiking trails within a couple minutes drive. You can see the other campers but the spots were spaced well. Had a great time!
Beautiful, quiet, and convenient place to stay! We have already been reccomending this place to our friends as a quick weekend getaway. Animals are friendly and gentle. Teresa set up a trail ride through a nearby friend which was totally above and beyond!
Peaceful woodlands near i-25
We loved our stay at Teresa's ranch! It was even nicer than the photos. We stayed in campsite 5 which had a partial mountain view. We camped in a minivan and set up a privacy/bathroom tent next to it. The tent pad was level and clean. There's a long, paved driveway that was great for exercising our pups after many hours in the car. The farm animals were all fenced and adorable! Teresa visited with us and graciously offered eggs from her chickens which we sadly had to decline as we'd already eaten and planned to leave before breakfast the next morning. She's very sweet and helpful. The sites were a good distance away from each other, and it was so quiet and peaceful. The only sound at night was that of owls calling as they flew through the woods... very cool. It's quite convenient to I-25. We'd be happy to stay there again one day!
Great! definitely recommend.
The property is beautiful, quiet, and has a petting zoo. My son is 2 and he loved all the animals, petting, feeding, and safely interacting with them. If your looking for a little getaway that isn't too far from home, this is perfect. The host was helpful and very polite, especially since they're sharing their property to the public.
The single hangup I had was very personal. The family at the site next to us was running a loud generator from roughly 8pm-10pm. Then, again at about 7am.
