Bring your binoculars for rare bird sightings. We supply a fire-pit, used only I if we re NOT in a red flag warning. There’s a picnic table.

The reason we share our property:

“Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.” John Muir

To preserve something that is wild and free is preserving a small piece of the world which allows people to be able to find solace and comfort. In this way, we feel as if we are somehow “giving back.“

Our hope is that at the end of the day, your hands & feet should be dirty, your hair a royal mess, and your soul singing!

Amazing stay!!!
Host was super responsive, gave us a great welcome and exit gift. We had the place to ourselves almost the whole time (mid-week). Great spot and plenty of fresh water. Will recommend to anyone wanting to get away from Den area

This was a great place. The hosts are super friendly. The location has amazing sunrise and sunset views. Red feather lakes (30 min away) was great too. The sites are spread out nicely. They are exposed (it is a prairie) so bring shade. The well water was outstanding, really glad they provided access to it! There is a toilet, it's a bit primitive (a bigger tent around it would be a plus) Yet completely usable Access to the hot shower was a huge plus,.

Camp hosts were great! They were very friendly and helpful whenever we needed something. Our campsite was very spacious and flat making it easy to get our camper level. Star gazing at the night sky in the wide open space was spectacular! We were able to have a campfire in an awesome fire pit. They are pet friendly so we were able to bring our dogs. Will definitely be going back in the fall

The field is pretty open and windy. Good well water is available and a trash receptacle too. Each site had chairs and table and fire pit. This hipcamp was higher priced than most and we didn’t understand why. The hosts were friendly enough and didn’t micro manage us. We enjoyed our stay but probably won’t book this one again.

Hipcamper KM
Response from KM, the Host, on June 8th, 2022

Nothing you’ve mentioned in your review was a surprise. The cost is listed when booking. We live on prairie land, which is evident from the 169 photos on our listing, but yes we do have trees, you simply cannot be in the “Sites with Trees” if you have pets. We certainly welcome constructive criticism that allows us to make helpful changes. Thank you for writing to me privately that you really enjoyed the homemade chorizo. Our other reviews boast exemplary experiences, We apologize that we didn’t meet your expectations.
