Beautiful lake. Very peaceful. Campground host was wonderful. Campground is clean.

A nearby lake called Creedmore Lake is a bit quieter than Dowdy and offers a more secluded environment for fishing, hiking or tent camping (you don't need to reserve a spot, just be ready to carry your things for .5 miles) Definitely worth checking out!
