Here at Rollinsville Adventure Camp, we are located in the heart of outdoor adventure country. Our campground is a combination of towering pine trees that ring a beautiful small meadow. A recently converted llama barn now plays host to a wonderful common semi-outdoor kitchen and hangout area. It features both a two burner camp stove, gas grill and a small refrigerator.

We are centrally located within easy reach of Golden Gate Canyon State Park, both James Peak and Indian Peaks Wilderness Areas, and Brainard Lakes State Park. If your are looking to find four wheel drive routes, there are many nearby that are readily accessible.  Rollinsville Adventure Camp is fully fenced in, offering you safety and security for you and your gear while you are out experiencing all this area has to offer. I went to this spot to solo camp, and felt very safe! Its a beautiful property with great wildlife on the other side of the fencing. The other campsites were very respectful of the quiet times, and all were friendly. It is right by Nederland, so i was able to hike and grab local food before driving 15 minutes to the site. no light pollution, so it made the stars look amazing! recommend very much :) --host also is great with giving information/responding quick.

a lot of room/space between campsites. loved the shared space that helped keep warm/add a nice touchplenty of space in the camp site area!the great family that strolled by to get food.

The host and his family we’re very friendly. The property backs up to some beautiful woods with wildlife. We saw moose. The amenities were clean and nice as well. The only thing that we didn’t like was the campground was fenced in with chainlink topped with barbed wire. There was also electric cattle type wires. I believe the property might have been used to keep in animals and perhaps protect them from wildlife. For us the fencing took away from the rustic camping experience we were looking for. However if you have dogs you want to keep track of or would like the added security of the fencing, this campsite might be perfect.

Ed’s setting is beautiful and borders Forest Service land. We had reserved site 5, but found site 4 to better suit our needs; Ed was fine with us switching it up. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, the smell of the pines, access to trails, a starlit night, and a visit from several moose (safely outside Ed’s fenced property). It was nice to know we had access to two grills, hammocks, a fire pit and more. We especially enjoyed meeting Ed’s daughter (and her homemade cookies!), his friendly dog and his silly cat! Will definitely return next time we visit the Nederland area.

We took our puppy here for her first camping trip, and we all enjoyed our stay! We appreciated the fence for peace of mind for our puppy. We met Edward and his dog; both were super friendly! Quiet and great location, we can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

Edward's space was super cool. With the fence around the property, we were confident visiting with our two dogs. It backs right up against national forest land, and we saw a moose walk right by our camp the first night. The "Llama Lounge" was great! We spent quite a bit of time hanging out there around the provided propane firepit, and got to visit with the other campers.

Edward was great too, and provided some great recommendations for hikes around the area. It's really close to great recreation, and close enough to town if you've forgotten anything, but it has the feel of a national park!

It's the perfect distance from Denver for a weekend getaway, so we will definitely be back. Thanks Edward!

Great camping space and the set up is wonderful. Wish there wasn’t a fence separating the property and national forest but not a huge deal. Very welcoming host.

This is a great little private campsite. It was nice having the amenities of the mini fridge and gas grill, and Edward is a great host. It was fun meeting the other campers and i truly enjoyed my time there. I will definitely be back again. In fact this site would be a perfect place to have an extended family camp gathering as there are six tent sites. I am considering booking an entire weekend for my whole family!
