Bliss Camp
A Rocky Mountain Glamping Experience!
Welcome to Bliss Canyon! Enjoy our mountain getaway in one of two unique, classy, handcrafted Gypsy Wagon Campers, The Shimza and the Sapphira. Towering rock outcroppings surround you in our private canyon, the stream lulls you to sleep, the birds serenade you in the morning. Bliss Pond or the Heart Pool will tempt you with a bracing dip in crystal clear waters. Explore the surrounding national forest or kick back and try some fishing or simply relaxing in camp. (See separate listing to reserve Bliss Camp in Sapphira Gypsy Wagon.)
The Shimza is 8’ x 10’ with a full-size bed for 2, complete bedding provided, counter and cabinets, lots of storage cubbies, Dutch door, table and benches which fold up to make room to sleep 2 more on a mattress on the floor (provided with bedding) or room for your dog. Solar electricity provides power for lights, and your devices. Shimza is designed and built by Dot and Byron's company, SimBLISSity Tiny Homes, a premiere Tiny Home builder.
Relax in your private backyard or head over to the shared outdoor kitchen for your personal meal prep. After your day of adventure or kicking back, enjoy a hot shower. Share your revelations of the day around the campfire, roast marshmallows, or relish your favorite beverage or 4:20 treat (outdoors only please). Game of Horseshoes anyone?
Kitchen has sink, fresh, potable water, kitchenware—pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc--2 burner propane stovetop, BBQ with side burner, critter-resistant food safe, bear-proof trash can, and picnic tables outside. We provide a convenient propane campfire for safety since our climate is dry and often windy. No candles please!
There are easy trails on property along the lush stream (the original riverbed of the Middle Saint Vrain Stream), fishing or swimming in the pond (no lifeguard on duty), or challenging trails into Roosevelt National Forest from the property. (Ask Dot for guidance.) Several NF access points, where you can enjoy peaceful walks away from crowds, are a short drive.
Bliss Canyon is a spur off of breathtaking South Saint Vrain Canyon. Stroll on over to the South or Middle for renowned fly fishing. For climbers, there are over 50 climbs in South Saint Vrain Canyon!
Rocky Mountain National Park, one of the five Crown Jewels of the National Park Service, is nearby. The closest trailhead in RMNP is 10 miles, the next trailhead at Wild Basin entrance to the park is 13 miles, and the Beaver Meadows entrance (main entrance) is 36 miles. Rocky Mountain National Park has breathtaking drives, easy strolls with interpretive signs, and 360 miles of trails. (Advance reservation required for entry 9:00 am to 3:00 pm for the main park ,or 5:00 am to 6:00 pm for Bear Lake corridor.)
Indian Peaks Wilderness also has several nearby access points and trailheads. Ask for details. Picturesque lakes and streams abound.
Let the world melt away; there is no wifi or cell service. In the event of urgent need, come to our home up the hill and ring the bell.
The charming town of Lyons is 20 minutes away with coffee shops, restaurants, bars, library with free wifi, and many quaint shops. Estes Park, with more services, is 35 minutes.
Dot and Byron look forward to hosting you in our spectacular Rocky Mountain Paradise.

Would define recommend getting both wagons, they have shared Amenities- We have an annual family glamming trip and did it at the wagons this year… best year yet! The host have everything you need for a fabulous experience and Amanda was so accommodating. Swimming holes, hiking and truly clean luxury little wagons- can’t say enough about this place! Enchanting 3 days away from it all!!! Thank you Dot and Bryon for sharing this little piece of heaven!

Overall we had a good experience.
Close to Rocky Mountain national park.
Beautiful surroundings with creek and forest.
Loved the wagon! Very spacious for 2 adults. Enjoyed the property. There was paving going on nearby but when we camped 2 weeks ago it seemed like the pavers would be done soon. Great communication and directions! Truly a relaxing, fun couple nights!
My friends and I rented out both of Dot and Byron's wagons for a weekend with 4 young kids and it was the perfect, easy glamping excursion for us. The kids had a blast running around the surrounding paths, splashing in the creek and roasting marshmallows before bed. The adults appreciated the well-stocked outdoor kitchen, the spotlessly clean wagons, and the thoughtfulness that went into every detail and amenity. It made it so easy to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
The place was really good. Mountains all around. There is literally everything available. Enough space to chill. We were worried about toilets, but the arrangement at their camp is pretty decent. Rocky Mountains are only 30 minutes away. Trails all around and you will not be bored at all. Dot and Byron were really helpful. Wish had more time to interact with them.

Incredible property! Loved the river and ponds running through the site, and the kitchen was well stocked with the essentials. Great glamping experience. And the wagons were lovey! Nice bedding, truly everything you could need. 30 minute drive to Estes, 10 minutes to Lyons. Thanks Dot!
This place was absolutely amazing. The wagon and all the amenities and the helpfulness from Dot and Byron was outstanding!!
On our last night hanging outside around dusk a brown bear did come towards us but my pup scared it away some how!
If you want some awesome local
Hiking and hanging out with beautiful scenery I highly suggest this place. The wagon for us fit two adults, two kids and a large pup! With plenty of room!
The memories made here will last a life time!
Thanks for such a great time.
Dot was more then accommodating when we wanted to switch where we were staying. She also brought us extra blankets on a cold night! They made sure we have water for hikes and gave awesome recommendations on where to go! This was my first hipcamp and I def will use it more!

What a special and unique stay.
So accommodating and friendly. The gypsy wagon was very comfortable and roomy, the kitchen is great...loved the area and all the special areas you could take in the mountains would definitely recommend. Myself and my adult kids just loved our three day stay.
Thank you SO much.
