Arrive to a mini ranch with donkeys serenading your arrival. Enjoy free ranging goats, chickens, and ducks. Visit the pigs, donkeys, rabbits, and quail. Get the experience of camping with the comforts of a full size mattress and comfortable rugs under your feet. This is our most private spot, a 3 min walk from the main area, nestled in the juniper trees. Relax at your own table and enjoy views of the mountains and nearby unique rock formations. Solar lights illuminate the interior and exterior of the tent. A gallon of drinking water will be provided inside the tent, we are happy to refill if needed. We are conveniently located off of Highway 13 between the towns of Rifle and Meeker, however this means that you can hear traffic noise. It does become more quiet in the evenings

We loved our stay at Nest Acres!
-The glamping tent was massive and the bed was so comfortable that we slept in both days.
-Meeting all the animals on the farm was a lot of fun and we even got to feed the Llamas, guided by Kathleen of course.
-We saw so many stars!
-The road was already quiet, but any noise was not an issue at night since the road got quiet in a hurry after dark.
Loved this site! The whole property is very cool. They have tons of friendly animals that will let you pet them but also will leave you be if that’s not your thing. The teepee itself is set up in its own area, there is a fence & gate, so the animals are not right up in your space. There is a spring water pond, perfect for a quick dip & very refreshing! Alexis & Kathleen were great hosts! The teepee itself is exactly as pictured & there’s a table set up right near it for cooking, eating, etc. The views were gorgeous! Definitely would stay here if we’re in Rifle again & definitely would recommend it to anyone!
