This is a beautiful place to camp! Surrounding hills, mountain views, shade trees, lush land, a winding creek... what more could you ask for? Very private and quiet. The weather wasn't great for traveling, so we didn't think twice about extending our stay. Jenna was there to meet us and was super nice. We will definitely stay here again when we're in the area.

These nice folks have a cattle ranch in Northwest Colorzdo. I had my choice of camping by a large pond, in an open pasture, under cottonwood trees or by a steam that meanders through the property. I chose the pond, Great location if you're in the neighborhood.
This Hipcamp site is way overpriced at $70.00/nite. I reserved it one day before because a snowstorm was coming in and we were in a bind for having a place to stay. While the communication with Jenna was very good, when we arrived her mother Debbie was waiting to greet us and we were taken over an extremely muddy road that was touch-and-go for our 4x4 pulling a 12' trailer. She brought us to a place under trees by a creek, which felt nice, but there were big badger holes and fresh cow pies and mud because of the storm. The website said there would be a toilet, but there was no mention of this. We were worried about getting out the next morning, but Debbie pointed out a different route for us to take, and we drove out without a problem. I wouldn't suggest bringing any kind of an RV in if there is a storm. We had an anxious night and felt taken advantage of with the cost.
We had the whole place to ourselves. Saw cranes, antelope, deer and something that looked like a groundhog. Jenna was a great host… drove us down to our spot and gave us some advice about the area and always texted me back quickly. I’d stay here again.
Jenna’s campsite is absolutely amazing! Beautiful, secluded, and peaceful. The host was so welcoming and kind, and showed us the best place to park, where we had a beautiful view of horses and nature.
We had a great night at Mountain View Camping on our way from Denver to Dinosaur National Monument. The location was secluded and beautiful. We saw cranes and deer (along with the typical ranch animals - goats, cows, and horses). Jenna was friendly and flexible with our late arrival. Overall a highly recommended experience!

Beautiful secluded spot, no creek currently as shown in photos (has dried up). Would recommend if passing through.
Jenna’s place was quiet and private, with beautiful surroundings. She was proactive in her communication. Very flexible!
The town of Craig (nearby) had a cool bookstore/cafe where I cools do some work. Steamboat Springs is fairly close with great outdoor activities (skiing, hiking, biking, kayaking, etc) and shopping.
