Wake up to a spectacular sunrise overlooking the lake, take a morning walk or bike ride around the 160-acre property enjoying the wild flowers while watching the antelope graze in the field. Start breakfast surrounded by fresh smell of pine trees. Spend your day at Lathrop Park on a boat trolling around for fish or paddle board across the lake. For excitement take the boat around to Martin lake with your kids on a pull toy or skiis or play waterball in the swim area. Return to camp for a grilled steak and a graceful sunset behind a silhouette of mountainous peaks. Plan tomorrow to take a ride up the road to quaint little towns with various shops nestled in a mountainside or at its base. Or continue on to the Great Sand Dunes, a site too great for words. Finish out your weekend with a last blast ride on your quad on the various terrains of our property, or explore the many hiking paths that lead to hidden treasures of the natural wilderness and perhaps in the right season pick pinon nuts from our wooded ridge or a fresh pumpkin or peppers from our up and coming farm. The place you long to escape to every weekend.
