We had a great stay for 2 nights. The site was as described. Easy turning circle for RVs. Linda was extremely helpful with so many tips on what to do in the local area and was very accomodating when we arrived late after a terrible journey. The kids loved waking up to the sound of the donkeys plus feeding them and Roz the dog, carrots. We would love to return in the summer to explore more as we were sad to leave.

Oh Thank You Debby! Your family was a delight! You were the only Hipcampers to arrive so late in the season, and you came prepared for the cold! Thanks again for choosing our ranch and please come back anytime. Sincerely, Linda

Linda was extremely nice and helpful! We’ll definitely be staying there again. Only downside was we had to rake some horse poop away from the tent sight, but that wasn’t a big deal.

Wonderful, quiet spot. Linda is an awesome host. The "Porta-Palace" was clean, cute and private. The donkeys are adorable and love to visit.

We absolutely loved staying at Linda’s ! It was just 20ish minutes through gorgeous scenery to get to Durango .
We got held up on our way in and ended up coming in later than expected and she was just so gracious about it.
(But I do not recommend driving in after the sun has set. The landscape coming in is so worth seeing & you will feel guilty because she is so darn kind!)
The space was simple and you pass by her horses and donkeys as you come and go.
If I find myself near Durango Colorado again We will absolutely stay here again !

Linda's ranch was the perfect place to stay for a few nights in Durango. Linda was so welcoming and helpful. A few highlights were: meeting the donkeys and horses, viewing the stars at night and seeing a beautiful sunrise in the morning. I would definitely stay here again if I find myself back in Durango.

Comfortable, relatively quiet (there is a road in the distance so some car noise can be heard, but not too loud) place to camp. I've stayed here twice now and was at different tent sites each time, and both had beautiful views of the mountains. There are options to be completely under trees, completely out in the open, or somewhere in between. Linda is friendly and helpful, and the animals are fun to be around. However, if you're a light sleeper, I recommend making sure that they won't have access to the area where your tent is unless you don't mind having donkeys grazing right outside your tent at 2a. (I had no idea they'd be awake then but they were.)

My one real complaint is that the portapotty is a bucket in a dinky privacy tent (footprint of maybe 2x2 feet), which I was totally fine with when I was the only camper there and could leave the door open while using the bathroom, but it's kind of awkward if another group is also camping on the land. It would be nice to either have a larger structure with a locking door (the privacy tent with the door zipped closed was a little claustrophobic and stinky) or separate buckets/tents at each site. Overall, though, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
