Our farm is 22 acres of mostly pasture land that we plan on developing into high elevation vineyards. We have a whole slew of animals...goats, cows, chickens, turkeys, and a couple of farm dogs. Nestled in the beautiful North Form Valley on the Western slope of Colorado between Aspen & Telluride, you'll find spectacular views of the West Elk Mountains and many of the mesas and valleys that make up this region. Folks dont realize that the West Elks is an established AVA and we have some phenomenal wineries in the area including Stone Cottage, Jack Rabbit Hill Farms and Azura all well within 20min drive..... Mesa Winds Winery is practically our neighbor and is a walk or 3min drive. Amazing opportunities to float, swim, kayak, paddle board and fish gold medal waters just 10min away at pleasure park. Hiking, biking, climbing are all exceptional here. Eagle rock shelter is the oldest known archeological site in CO and top 5 in USA and its 15-20 min drive and 1/4 mile hike! A true outdoors paradise! We have 4 amazing neighbors and you can see their homes from most of our property but they are far enough that you will forget they are there.

Great little spot! Quiet and beautiful area a short drive to downtown Hotchkiss. Loved the free range cows and friendliest goats ever! Will definitely return.

We only stayed at Hollow Horn Farm for one night, but it was a great experience! Had our own patch of land to park our camper van on on the property. Alex met us when we arrived and they were both responsive and so helpful with local winery suggestions. Goats are super friendly too. :) would highly recommend!

Very pretty farm. It was easy to communicate with Alex and Michelle. Heads up there are no toilets at this site but town is a quick drive down the road. Check out Mesa Winds winery around the corner and nearby Black Canyon of the Gunnison Park. Would definitely camp here again if we come back to this area.

Staying at Hollow Farm was a great experience. Michelle and Alex were super accommodating and we enjoyed staying at this beautiful place for 5 days. We had amazing views and the cell signal (we are working while on the road) was outstanding (there is a tower right behind the farm). We used Verizon and didn’t even need a booster to get good coverage. This Hipcamp is also great for exploring the nearby mountains and national forests. We would definitely come back if we should visit this area again.

A nice place to stay and access the Black Canyon and small towns in Western Colorado. Hosts were very friendly and gave me excellent recommendations on places to fish the Gunnison nearby. If you're looking to access these awesome places, then this Hipcamp makes for a good base. If you stay in the summer, just know that the whole area gets hot! Having never traveled to that area of Colorado we were not expecting the heat to be so intense. Overall, it was a great place to stay. We had fun playing with the baby goats and the dogs that roam the property.

The host's home. Look for this house to the West after you've turned North.More goats!Across the field.View to the East at sunset.
