Loved being nestled in the woods and mountains. The cabin was perfectly rustic, with just the right amenities. Having a cup of coffee in the morning on the porch with the scenic views was cozy and wonderful. Easy to get to and found a very close hike that we enjoyed a lot. Would definitely stay again!
The name peaceful retreat is so accurate! This place is so clean and Mary was so accommodating. The location is also fantastic, very close to Denver and lots of outdoorsy activities!

Windy dirt roads , and amazing views seemed to be gently ushering us to our room which was nestled in the woods on the mountain .
Getting out of the car we were welcomed with hospitality and the glow of warm lights , as we walked through the double doors into our room , we were pleasantly surprised with the size , decor and cleanliness.
At night we would fall asleep to the silhouette of the mountain against the stars . We stayed for 3 days 2 night , and never felt wanting for any necessities.

The cozy cabin is comfortable with large windows (with blinds) to take in the mountains and sky. We camp in a teardrop trailer (smaller than this) so packing for a weekend here was easy. We enjoy the simplicity...no running water can be tricky for some. We used the hand sanitizer, brushed our teeth outside, and managed easily. Heck, there's a coffee maker and microwave! The host is directly behind the cabin but we never saw them so it felt like we had all the privacy we wanted.
This little cabin was so fun. It was just what we needed after a long weekend in the mountains. No running water, but drinking water is provided. Also a Keurig with lots of options. The neighborhood is so quiet and dark at night. Very easy to find and operate. We will be back!
Everything was great. Beautiful location and adorable decor. Quite comfy for such a small space!
We were looking for a simple getaway where we didn’t need to bring a tent or camping gear and this was the perfect spot! Even though you are within earshot of other houses the little cabin faces the woods and feels so private. It had a great porch to sit on for sunset or in the morning with coffee (which is provided)! Mary was reachable for anything we needed though we didn’t need anything other than what was provided. I definitely recommend this spot for a relaxing getaway!
What a great spot! Very neat with everything you'd need for a simple stay. Stunning view out of the large windows. Privacy even though you're not far from other houses. And the hostess was so thoughtful and sent me a message that there was a rainbow on the other side of the hill from me, and even asked if I wanted popcorn and hot chocolate!
A lovely cottage to stay in a beautiful serene place. To boot, the hostess is AWESOME!
