If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Our stay at Diane's and Tom's Falkor Ranch was great. The kids enjoyed the animals. The place feels like off the beaten track, but it's only 15mins to the next town w/ shopping if needed. Diane and Tom were great. We learned a lot and enjoyed our stay.
Where imagination meets the future
Falkor Ranch is a great place to stay. My husband and I brought our camper and we’re able to set up right next to the barn. The bathroom is in the barn and had all the amenities we needed. We were right next to the Alpaca area and the goats were all around us. It’s a quiet place with typical Farm noises. You can have as much privacy as you want, although Tom and Diane are always close by. We spent a little extra money to get a tour of the ranch. We got to learn about the operations of a ranch this size as well as all kinds of cool information about the animals. We even got up early one morning to learn about milking goats. We enjoyed some of their farm fresh eggs also. Overall, Falkor Ranch is more than accommodating and is run by some pretty great people. We would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a secure and comfortable place to stay that also gives you a window into ranch life!
A perfect escape from city life!
This was one of our coolest experiences yet. The farm is immaculately maintained and the hosts were very nice. We had so much fun and got to enjoy time with the animals.
2nd visit and just as memorable as the first. Kids loved hanging out with the goats and seeing the baby alpacas, but the highlight for them would be the two little kittens in the barn. Can’t say enough about how accommodating the hosts are. We’ll definitely be back.
Fabulous family farm!
Diane was incredibly accommodating even when our plans fell through for coming two nights and we were only able to stay for one. She showed us all around the property and made us feel right at home. We absolutely loved being able to have so much access to seeing and petting the goats and alpacas. The entire property is beautiful, quiet and a much needed escape from the city life. We highly recommend this for anyone who loves animals and wants a fun getaway! Our daughters are already asking when they can come back!
Great place. great people
Beautiful, peaceful setting with warm, friendly, welcoming hosts. Tom and Diane patiently explained to our grandchildren all about the livestock, let us sample Gogi berries, and made us feel at home. We cannot wait till our next visit.
Rving with goats and alpacas
The hosts were friendly and gave us a tour as soon as we arrived. We were able to roam about their property and visit with the alpaca's and the goats. Our daughter was especially excited to be able to help bottle feed one of the baby goats! If we are ever in the Colorado Springs area again, we will definately consider staying here again!
Loved our first experience!
This was our first Hipcamp experience and we were very pleased! Diane and Tom were very courteous hosts, we enjoyed their farm immensely! The animals were adorable and very well loved. Diane and Tom also took the time to give us lessons on the animals, we learned a lot! We would definitely stay at their family friendly farm again!
One of favorite trips ever!
This place was so awesome! Complete relaxation and the friendliest goats ever. I even got to feed a baby goat. The alpacas are so adorable to watch too. The place is very quiet and peaceful. It was so nice to be able to walk around and visit the animals as you desire. The owners are so friendly and knowledgeable and we learned a lot. We definitely will be back. I have to see my favorite goat, Gandalf again! He won my heart.
