Our stay at Eric's was perfect for what we needed! Just a nice, safe, quiet, affordable place to lay our heads after exploring Red Rock's and Denver. Be mindful that it is a slight uphill walk to where the car is parked, so if you are planning on doing a lot of cooking just keep that in mind! Since you'll have to leave your food in the car because of bears. This spot is perfect if you're mostly going to be out and about during the day. It's really easy to find and it's really accessible to freeways. I loved how safe it felt and Eric was so nice and accommodating.

The site was really beautiful, however I found the listing confusing. Was asked to spend an extra $20 for bringing along two friends even though the listing said four people allowed. The walk from the driveway down to the campsite was a bit longer and steeper than expected. Pretty annoying in bear country when you have to store food, etc. in your car. Overall a pretty, private location, but a pretty hefty price for the minimal amenities and inaccessible care camping offered.

Eric & his family were great hosts! The campsite was beautiful with lots of wildlife and they had delicious potable drinking water. They also had bear-safe garbage cans for food and waste, which made us feel super safe during our stay. The location is 10 minutes away from downtown Evergreen & Idaho Springs which was convenient. Would definitely come again!

A trail down his backyard hill led to a private camping area where we saw a variety of wildlife during our stay. Elk, a blue woodpecker, and a mom and baby deer grazing right by our tent! Thanks for your hospitality

We loved camping at Eric’s property. The campsite (#1) was very private and hidden in the trees. The sloped terrain and tree cover shielded us from the wind. Our host was very helpful and welcoming. He allowed us to use his electric grill since charcoal grills were not allowed on the property.
I would definitely recommend this campsite to friends and family.
