Come camp at our family-run river rafting company basecamp. We have been in operation for 50 years as a rafting business and we are excited to share the Tuolumne River Canyon views with you during your stay!

We are located 15 minutes' driving distance from the entrance to Yosemite National Park (note that after September 30th you do not need a reservation to get into Yosemite, you can go right in) and 15 minutes driving to the historic town of Groveland. Our campsites offer sweeping views of a waterfall, vibrant sunrises and sunsets, three different river canyons, and a classic Sierra Nevada foothills ecosystem.

Bring your own tent and camping gear, or rent camping gear from us. You are also welcome to camp in your van or car - you can park right at the campsite. We offer a bathhouse just a 2-minute walk from your campsite with flushing toilets, showers with hot water, a water refill station, and wi-fi near the building. Enjoy our lawn games outside of the bathhouse - corn hole, ladder golf, pickle ball, and bocce ball are all available for you and your group!

We are less than 5 minutes away from Rainbow Pools, a local swimming hole, and 5 minutes away from the Lucky Buck, a tasty diner. We are more than happy to give you suggestions on places to explore around Yosemite, Stanislaus National Forest, and Groveland!

We have a puppy named Nala who you might see running around and we can be around as much or as little as you'd like!

Good proximity to Yosemite, great views from site, nice to have a hot shower available after a day on the trail, and good quality drinking water available on site. Friendly helpful hosts and an adorable puppy! Only thing I would mention that some might not like, upper site was pretty close to power lines, the lower site is a bit further away, not a dealbreaker for us.

This was a perfect stay for us in the middle of our trip. We got to shower for the first time in a while (in the very clean showers!) and it was only a short drive outside of Yosemite. Everyone we talked to was kind and welcoming. The site itself was just open on a hill but the view overlooks the mountains and is lovely to wake up to.

Stayed at Liza’s main camp site for two nights with my friend. Liza was super friendly and accommodating. her site was so beautiful and conveniently located by Yosemite’s entrance. The site was situated next to a canyon with scenic views of the mountains and a waterfall. There was a picnic table, a platform for tents, potable water, and modern showers and toilets. Highly recommend this site!

We loved our stay here! Hosts are super friendly, helpful, and communicative. The views are fantastic and you can see a waterfall from the site. It was a short drive to the east side of Yosemite and there are some cool hikes nearby outside the park as well.

The bathrooms are definitely a nice perk.

*Would recommend making sure you bring a free standing tent that doesn't need to be staked in order to stand up if you can so you can use the platform! I brought my A-frame tent and ended up staking it off to the side.

The most scenic campsite I’ve ever stayed at. Such a lovely site within an approximate 10 minute drive to an entrance to Yosemite national park. Liza was such a kind and thoughtful host and their puppy was the cutest. Bathrooms and showers were extremely clean and well-kept which is always a plus when camping. Would love to return!

Woh! Can’t believe that this is legit with amazing mountain view that you can even see 4 waterfalls, clean & big bathroom and toilet with hot water, very responsive and helpful host Liza. They provide picnic tables and chairs and also tap water & drink water. Currently they have 2 camp sites, both have amazing views but I would recommend the upper camp site. We stayed at main camp sites for 4 nights. We had an awesome stay at the camp at Yosemite. Camp location is quite close with Rainbow Pool just 3 min drive.
