Wendee's Whimsical Camp Site

Definitely Whimsical! Unique location, very quiet, but easy access to shops and restaurants in Atascadero and wineries in Paso Robles. S'mores by the firepit, and cooking dinner on the grill made it all-inclusive!

Wendee and William’s whimsical campsite was amazing! We had first row seats to amazing views and wildlife. Wendee and William were kind and accommodating hosts! If you are looking to “glamp”, their spot is definitely one of the best ones out there.

We loved camping with Wendee and William! Gracious hosts, clean bathroom, plenty of supplies for cooking/lighting. A whimsical weekend, for sure.

I have no words. This place is AMAZEBALLS! Got to meet both Wendee and Bill on our last night. They are amazing people and the care and thought they have put into this place is nothing short of WOW! Bill was so nice even to meet us waaAAAaaay past our check-in time. He was ready outside with a lantern and flashlights, while literally walking us down to the site to which they have a quaint little bathroom powered up by a generator that wasn't too loud. I mean hot shower and a compostable toilet?!?!?! Woohoo. Annnd not to mention the firepit! No matches? No problem! They have you covered with lighters...everywhere! The trail Bill had made was PHENOMENAL!!!!! You can watch the beautiful sunrise/sunset and be in awe that you are only 15 min away from wine tasting at paso robles and atascadero! Great place. Loved every moment spent there. Will be back.

Beautiful property with lots of wildlife to view. Comfortable bathroom and shower with plenty of hot water. Fire pit is easy to use and the sitting area and picnic tables are comfortable. Will definitely come back again

This place is amazing. The bathroom cabin is so nice to have. There’s a ton of little features that make the stay amazing. Who knows what William will have added next time we stay.

Wonderful place! Wendy and William really put their heart and soul into their property. A+

This backyard campsite is a delightful, magical place, built with love and care and great attention to detail. The fire pit and picnic table made for a great spot to hang out, the generator-powered bathhouse with hot shower (and even fresh towels and a hairdryer) was a treat for campers, and the trail through the property was a delight for adults and kids alike. Road to access the site is steep and narrow, get their in the daylight for easier navigating!

This could not have been better - William and Wendee were beyond generous and welcoming. Their spot is pure magic and built with skill and love. We were two families with kids aged 2 and 9 and all of us had a blast. (Also: nicest bathroom ever for a campsite!!)
