A stunning nature and river reserve! The views are stunning at this glorious property surrounded by mountains and undeveloped land. Relax in the quiet reverence of nature at our simple space.

Our private sanctuary rests atop the Santa Margarita River adjacent to a nature preserve along a rural dirt road. Breathe in the fresh, clean air, enjoy the gentle caress of the cool breezes, and listen to nature’s symphony of critter sounds and trickling river water. Stroll through the land, taste the sweetness offered by our citrus trees, rest in the shade on one of our hammocks, or play with your inner child on the see-saw. Take a healthy hike or mountain bike on the many surrounding nature trails our sacred space has to offer.

At night, gaze into the dark, star-filled sky.  Want more action? Wine Vineyards, beaches and San Diego City attractions are just a short drive away.

Four camp spots are situated along the bluffs overlooking the river and one site is located near the top of the land.  Bluff spots are best suited for smaller tents while the upper area can accommodate larger ones.   It is advised to bring a shade structure during warmer weather as most sights have sparse shade.  However, there are plenty of shady areas on the land to relax and are open for all to share.  One tent and one car are allowed for each site booked. This is a TENT ONLY site with NO CAR CAMPING.  Cars rest in a separate area which is a 1-5 min walk from the camping areas.  PLEASE NOTE the camping area and walk paths have recently been cleared so the dirt is fairly soft and uneven in places and the TERRAIN is quite STEEP in some areas.  We call it nature's stair master!

The composting potties are a 1-5 minute walk from the sites.  You can find photos of each site, plus two additional ones, in the photos section of this site. Campers must arrive at least 1 hour before dark to ensure a safe set-up experience.

The nature scene here is the reason we are here.  It is raw, rustic, and beautiful!  A high degree of reverence and respect for mother earth is required to stay here.  We encourage guests to make an offering to the land before setting up camp.  A flower, a piece of fruit or other gift from nature is perfect.  We are grateful you are choosing to spend time with us!

My wife our two pups and I loved our stay at Aimee's land! Be prepared to carry all of your items. We tend to pack comfortably and had to make multiple trips to the car but we didn't mind it at all and brought a dolly to assist us. Aimee greater us and we could instantly feel her positive energy. We got lucky and just avoided the rain and had the whole area to ourselves. We will be booking another trip very soon! Thank you again Aimee!!

Aimee was a wonderful and gracious host and very understanding and supportive of the rental car challenge that led us to arrive after dark.

We set up our tent between Site 1 and 2 and were grateful to have it to ourselves for the night.

Lovely guests, amazing sense of community and land stewardship, and just good vibes all around. The land is magical. The creek and river are healing. What a wonderful place to stumble upon. I do hope to be back again. <3

Aimee was very communicative and helped me out with parking and everything else. The site had a lovely view and there are very nice hiking trails nearby that follow a lovely stream.

I came to this site about a year ago and had a great time with my two boys. This year, my boys and I came back with my sister and her family. Even my 81 year-old mother joined the fun. My mom stayed in the “nest” and was very, very comfortable. Nothing is ever good enough for that woman, but she was very happy and content in the nest. She spent her time relaxing on the porch and looking over the mountains. As for the rest of us, we had a blast. The site is secluded, but private and safe enough that we let our 12 year old boys run around and explore on their own. We rode bikes, hiked, and rode horses. We even had a delicious dinner at a local restaurant about 20 minutes away. I’m sorry to say we didn’t quite “rough it” as we were comfortable the entire time. I absolutely love this site and will head back for years to come and see Aimee and her beautiful land.

This place was a little slice of heaven and Aimee was such a fantastic and hospitable host! The creek nearby was so beautiful to cool off in on the hot days and the camp feels so private. Truly such a memorable trip!

Aimee is a phenomenal human and her daughter is the sweetest, most helpful camp manager around 🤩🥳😎 they began our journey with the most warm, welcoming meet and greet, then gave us a quick tour of the new upgrades (this is my 2nd time and my friends 1st time here) then gave us the space to peruse. There’s many new campsites (happiness hill is now a whole campsite loop!!) and the original campsites have been upgraded too - much more space and site definition. After a few days of relaxing on happiness hill (that has AMAZING views btw), we were fortunate to have Aimee do WONDERS on our bodies with her highly skilled energy work. Everyone of my friends and I walked away feeling lighter, freer and FULLLLL of energy. We each literally ran up the hill we had so much energy lol I highly HIGHLY recommend getting the energy work add on to your HipCamp stay, it will transform you literalllllly.

I love this place, it’s woman owned and ran so it makes me feel safer to camp and bring an all girls group out into nature. Her property is soso perfect and across the street from the river. It’s a must stay!!! I will be here many more times so if you see me, say hi!

Aimee was personable and available. The view and the surrounding area were gorgeous. Had a great sleep in my tent there. Would recommend this spot to a friend.

The is the only photo I took - doesn’t do the view from tent justice...

Aimee is a very kind soul. She showed us around let us know about local hikes. There is a river that you can hear at the camp site. So very nice. I am looking forward to going again when the weather cools down.
