Surrounded by Cleveland National Forest and centrally located between San Diego, LA and Palm Springs, The Preserve at Temecula Creek will soon become one of your go-to camp spots.Ā  We have seven sites on forty acres and theĀ ValleyView Camp Area sites give you a large clearing up top along the ridge for your vehicles, trailers or tents along with additional tent clearings set down a 50-yard trail into the valley for some extra privacy and wind protection compared with the sites along the ridge.Ā  Each site has their own 10x10 ft. raised wooden camp platform nestled down in the valley for you to use for tents, canopies, cowboy camping or just starting up at the stars. The large clearing at the top of the site is our most accessible for trailers and camper vans with ample room to maneuver your rig on mostly level ground.

Come see why The Preserve at Temecula Creek is one of the most reviewed and highest rated camps in SoCal!

This was such an incredible place! An absolute must-go! Beautiful property, an awesome community hang out and wide open spaces! Also, seriously the CLEANEST porta-potty Iā€™ve ever used! Our kids loved every minute of our weekend. The location is so close yet feels so far away! We will definitely be back! Bob was the best - so kind, helpful and accommodating. Thanks for an epic weekend!

One of my best Hipcamp experiences ever. The location was lovely, the amenities a great addition (the guest hangout area was a bit hit with my kids!), and the communication exceptional. I was incredibly impressed with receiving personal messages from Bob himself as well as meeting one of his staff members who came out one day in the late afternoon to check on everyone and ask if we needed anything, as well as to make sure everyone knew about everything they had access to. She was really nice and very helpful. Definitely would stay here again and recommend to anyone (just keep in mind the road really does require a high clearance vehicle). Thank you!

Always a great time staying here. Saw hundreds of shooting stars and really emptied the common area. However this was likely the last time Iā€™ll be able to get my car up the road. My Honda Civic is getting a lil roughed up. Fortunately thereā€™s another site just down the road that I can still visit and enjoy just as well!

The place was good with standard facilities and some of the spot has good views of valley, dark night sky for star gazing. The last dirt road leading to the spot is rough, even though two wheel drive car will make it but high ground clearance like SUV is recommended.

This campsite ~25 mins outside of Temecula was fantastic! The road up to the sites is admittedly rough (as Bob mentions in the description), however, we were able to make it up and back successfully in a Hyundai Elantra. We didnā€™t get a chance to meet Bob in person, but you can tell he put quite a bit of work into these sites on this beautiful piece of land. Stargazing and sunrises were spectacular. Thanks, Bob!

Disclaimer: it ended up being too hot when we went so we did not actually stay the night. However, we thought the camp site was so beautiful. There are lots of great informational videos that made us feel very prepared getting to the camp site and Bob was extremely responsive to all our questions. We will definitely be back to stay in the cooler months!
