Renee was so accommodating and a pure please to chat with. Her service went above and beyond great hosting. Amd if you like a super dive bar and good food the Barn is well worth the visit. We’ll be back.
Plenty of space, didn't go in because we were exhausted but the music didn't go too long to get a good night's sleep. Great location!
Very route 66, close to route 40
It's very basic. You are parking in a gravel lot by a route 66 roadhouse. No tables, no pit toilet. But when The Barn is open you can get a decent meal and use the restroom. Very quiet (except I imagine on weekends when there is music and karaoke) We have stayed twice, both times on a week night when The Barn shuts down at 9:30.
The hostess, Renee, was not on site but her staff person Lola, who runs The Barn, was there and couldn't have been more welcoming. The site is "bare bones" - you basically park in a gravel parking lot by The Barn and can use bathroom there when it's open. Otherwise there are no amenities. However, The Barn was great - good food and drink and pleasant people who seem to be the regulars. Lola was great.
