Best hipcamp ever❤️❤️
Wow! I stayed at Simply Camping for 4 nights with two friends and we all absolutely adored it. Tammy was a gracious and amazing host who recommended great things in the area and was always there if we needed anything. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend to all!!
Amazing spot and hospitality
Amazing spot for camping!😍 the vibe is great and the place is isolated. Hospitality is on point and you can just appreciate the beauty around you. I'll definitely come back in there
Winds were our nemesis....
You know, I was a little hesitant about camping in the desert, but this place is pretty cool and I would totally come back again.
Tammy had set up several sections of camping areas decently spaced from one another, so we were never bothered by other guests. :) When we arrived, Tammy was sweet enough to give us a little tour to show us where everything was located (toilet, a wagon we could use to haul our stuff, games, etc).
The 26 mph winds made it incredibly challenging to put up our tent. My boyfriend and I were hanging onto our large tent for nearly 5 minutes until Tammy thankfully came over to assist. We dug 4 poles into the sand and used ratchet straps to tie down the tent. It took over 2 hours to finish, and by the end of it we were exhausted but we had a fortress!
Definitely check the weather/wind report before arriving!
Camping with the stars!
Tammy got a lovely camping ground! The place was clean and decorated with a lot of cool stuff. Tammy was also very friendly and helpful. She gave us a thorough tour of the place when we checked in and gave us some sandbags to set up the camp cause it was too windy. The campsite was also quiet and secluded. The porta potty was clean and not far from our spot. The views at night were breathtaking! We could see so many stars Overall a very pleasant experience and would definitely recommend!
My dogs loved it.
Tammy was a wonderful host who helped us work through broken tent poles and high wind. Very peaceful and cool off road trek to get there. I would go back. It isn’t fancy but it is peaceful and you have Tammy nearby to help you with anything. A+
Btw, my dogs came home so dirty…. They were rolling around the dirt and sand. They enjoyed it too!
Tammy was a wonderfuly host with a cute campground and fantastic view. She's put a great deal of work into upcycling junk into really cool art that decorates her premises and gives it a unique touch.
Tammy has created a whimsical and welcoming space! Beautiful views and a community-minded atmosphere. A true desert experience. Good flat, sandy sites for tents. Clean port-a-potty. Fire pits and furniture at each site. I'll stay again if I come back to Joshua Tree!
What an amazing host:) thanks tammy
Tammy was such an AMAZZZING host. Such an amazing soul. She was so accommodating, helpful and even helped me when my tent was having issues. If your looking to camp in the Joshua Tree desert and have an amazing host along the way, this is your spot. Thank you Tammy for such an amazing trip
