Description

Wheeler Camp is smack in the middle of the Sinkyone Wilderness, so come check it out if and only if you’re prepared to backpack. Dense woodland, redwoods groves, and ravines make for a secluded camping spot. The Lost Coast trail leading here can be quite steep, but the campground is in a flat clearing, and there are massive old-growth redwoods right around this area. Jackass Creek runs nearby, a convenient water source.
