Description

A quick detour off County Road 105, Mary Smith Campground is considered one of California’s “prettiest,” most scenic lakeside campgrounds found anywhere in the state that’s otherwise synonymous with reality TV. While not RV or drive-in friendly, Marry Smith Campground is dotted with seventeen campsites, teeming with fauna.

We had a great time at Mary Smith Campground. We stayed in glamping site #3 and really liked it (though site #2 was our favorite). Some feedback on the campground:
- The glamping site bed is super comfortable. We fell asleep instantly and got woken up next day by the morning sun.
- The glamping sites are set up well, have enough space, each come with a fire pit, 2 plastic chairs, 2 wooden chairs, a full table + benches and a LED lantern.
- The bathrooms at are clean, flush toilets. The ranger is re-stocking toilet paper daily. Big plus!
- There are no showers at the campground. Good news is that you can simply take a swim in the lake :)

There are tent sites, and already set up glamping sites with beds. Reserve way in the future.

The sites are small and close together, especially the glamping sites. We had site #6 right on the water, people were letting their children run rampant with no regard for our space. If you are looking for peace&quiet not just a pretty setting, LOOK ELSEWHERE!
